SOWELL HOTELS Golfe de Saint-Tropez in Grimaud

So we went for a 50th and 40th celebration. For the price I paid I feel it was good valve, the food was good and service was good. Out of the 9 rooms, ours was the only one that smelt. Tbh I didn’t complain but should have. The thing I’m very unhappy about is that I left me trainers in the room, I called a few hours later and they say they can’t find them. So someone has stolen them which I’m not happy about. I’ve emailed the hotel and they haven’t responded at all.

Stayed here for 4 nights and what a big mistake! It was awful staff were rude and not friendly at all. Paid for all inclusive but drinks are limited through the day to just beer and wine. Evening bar served watered down cocktails. The pool was the worst ….. Filthy dirty sun beds No drinks No food No music No entertainment The whole hotel is in desperate need of re decorating! Would never stay here again or recommend it to friends and family. Please avoid if you want a happy holiday it was miserable place to stay. How it’s rated a 4* is beyond me

Just returned. Left 2 days early so is by far nothing like 4 star. 2 star at a stretch. Attracts over 80s and there dogs. No under 70s to be found. Dull old rooms. Avoid.

Horrible hotel, badly kept, dirty and the breakfast room was a disgrace in terms of quality and availability of food. Personnel was scarce with respects to the hoarded of people in the hotel. The gardens are kept in disarray and the golf course and the tennis courts are in total disarray. The room

The Resident area isn't supposed to have the honer of 4 stars hotel- it's not an hotel. 1st, when we arrived, we couldn't find the right entrance. No reception at all near the residential area and no signs. After walking few miles to find reception and get the room key, we had to make our own beds. In the room their wasn't any complementary coffee and tea (nothing) and no soap in the shower. You can't make a call either because their isn't any phone to call from if you are a torist from a different country. After 22:00 thier isn't anyone to help you. No one clean or change your towels all those days you booked. The cuttel was burnt from the inside. I had to take it with me all the way to reception (few miles) and to ask to get another. I received only after I came again to ask what happened with the new one that was promised, on the day after. The service in the reception desk is very poor. I asked to have a call from the manager, but never received one. They left two bottles of soap near our door. I won't be recommending this place to any of my friends and family. They should take down the stars to only 2. It can't be called hotel. Hostel house perhaps.
