Premiere Classe Honfleur in Honfleur

We had a generally pleasant stay at the Première Classe Hotel in Honfleur. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which made for peaceful nights. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable — exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring.

However, there are a few points to be aware of. The cleaning staff seemed poorly organized, and our room wasn’t ready by the official check-in time. Also, the reception is only open during specific hours, so plan your arrival accordingly.

Make sure to book your breakfast when reserving your room — it's €6.20 and not included by default. During summer, the parking area fills up quickly, and although there's a gate and a small entrance, they remain open 24/7, so parking isn't particularly secure.

Lastly, note that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be uncomfortable in warmer weather.

Overall, it’s a good budget option if you’re not expecting too much.

This is a budget hotel.

It is basic but delivers everything you need for a budget price.

The location isn’t ideal if you need to walk into Honfleur but it’s close enough. It is however near to a few places to eat and grocery shops. I recommend Amoretto for a good value Italian meal 10 minutes away.

The hotel is very clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and generally very professional. On one morning breakfast was several minutes late but aside from that everything was good.

Rooms are compact but functional. The en-suite bathroom is small but again it’s perfectly functional. The shower is reminiscent of a caravan or overnight ferry but the water was hot and plentiful.

Breakfast was a basic continental affair. Freshly baked croissants were accompanied by baguette, wholemeal sliced bread (with a toaster) yoghurts and conserves. Drinks were orange juice and a coffee machine which provided a full array of coffee choices. All sufficient but no fresh fruit or meats/cheeses. Not ideal if you are on a low carbohydrate diet 😬.

For the price we paid (approximately €70 including breakfast) it does the basics very well. It is not pretending to be anything more expensive so it’s true to itself. I would certainly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.

The hotel is what you can expect of this kind of hotel. Not the most luxurious but the bed was nice and the room was clean. The receptionist Nathalie made my stay a lot better though. I had some trouble with self check-in and she didn’t hesitate to help me out. Thanks!

Its exactly what you pay for - booked 4 days but stayed just one night - we booked into another hotel thats more family friendly
If your travelling and do not mind basic accommodation then this is the place for you

The rooms are smaller than they look on the website

Its so cheap so i cant complain- lesson learned

The hotel is fine, especially as a stopover hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the price is right.

Hotel a few steps from the center of Honfleur and a few kilometers from the Normandy Bridge. Warm welcome upon our arrival and the same the next day at breakfast where we found everything we needed to fill our bellies.
Bathroom a bit small but for the price we were happy with it.
As for the bedding, this was our big downside, we didn't sleep much, feeling like we were lying on the ground, the mattress is so firm as to give you sciatica when you wake up!! !
In terms of nuisance it was relatively calm although the motorbikes were happy to rev up their engines but this is not attributable to the hotel
