As far as hotels go this was fair. The hotel is an old design, in concrete but actually this gave it quite an appeal in a brutalist architecture style which I found interesting. My room was a good size and comfy with decent shower and bathroom. Staff were all efficient and friendly with plenty of free parking on site. Breakfast was excellent great choice!

Well maintained, clean, great staff, comfortable bed, quiet. Puzzled by recent reviews stating how sated and in need of renovation this place needs. Not so! Clean, functional, and quiet! Anyway, great do not hesitate to stay here if you are in Nevers visiting the everyday Saint. Bernadette.

Reasonable room in a very dated 70th’s building at the Loire riverside. Pro’s are a nice terrace overviewing the Loire and a cordial staff. On the other hand, rooms have no private terrace, hotel is worn out and has no electric car charging points.

Driving home from Paris, we stopped halfway and stayed at your hotel. We chose it primarily because of the free, secure parking, and so glad we did, as we had a problem with our rental car and couldn’t get the doors to lock! Good hotel for stop over Nice hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and I noticed as we left they were installing overhead rain showers. The only slight thing was we arrived on Sunday and the hotel restaurant was closed as was most restaurants. But we ate at a restaurant called the metro around 20 minutes walk away which was fine.

This is so much better than the usual overnight stops. Very pleasant dining area and bar. Secure parking and friendly staff. Never is a very interesting place to wander round apart from the roadworks. Would definitely stay here again.

Food was excellent but pricey

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Ibis Nevers. So close to the centre of the town, walkable and convenient. Parking was private and off road. Although the room was small and not soacious it was still comfortable and aircon was part of the room. Breakfast was lovely. All in all a lovely stay.

A small hotel in the very center of the city. Medium-sized rooms with comfortable beds and basic equipment (towels, hair dryer, cosmetics). Close to train station, clean room, nice breakfast offerings

Unplanned stop It was very hot, no air conditioning, but the staff were attentive. The bed was too hard for us. The breakfast was very good.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, between the train station (3 minutes) and Nevers city center (5 minutes). Large room, very good bathroom, large desk also in the room. Perfect and very varied breakfast.

Top hotel, clean and welcoming staff.

The room was quaint, clean and quiet! We stayed only one because they were fully booked. The breakfast was really good. The food was fresh and the eating area was clean. I would choose this hotel again. We walked to the convent and there were many cafes and restaurants to choose from. Everyone was really nice in the shops

Passing through the region for a stopover, We found the relay by chance! We spent the night and also had dinner. It was perfect the delicious meal all home made! On the other hand, the breakfast is far from meeting our expectations, a little disappointed. This is why the 4/5.

Great place, really good value for your money. The host is super helpfull. The place is centrally located, clean and no noise. There is a nice little patio with chairs and table - would not hesitate to return.

Great spot. Love the fact it is across from a park and next to a cafe, near everything, 5 minutes from carrefour city, grocery store with all the basics and lots of wine choices, clean cute room, VERY clean and modern bathroom, little inner yard to sit outside, and lovely cats watching you from afar. Will stay here again next time I visit Nevers!

We are travelling by bike and loved everything about our stay in Hôtel de Verdun. The staff was super nice with us from the beginning. We could park our bikes in a small garden inside the hotel. The room and bathroom were huge, clean and very comfortable. The location is awsome. Everything near and reachable by foot.

My train had a problem and the manager kindly accepted me at the last minute. Nickel room, nickel service and I had no problem whatsoever. The rooms were renovated and the facade redone and I did not have a problem with bed bugs as you can read. I highly recommend !!

Price of the room 66 euros with dirty bedding torn mattress stained mattress sheets not changed with hair and hair! Poor bathroom and WC. Very noisy location! I asked to change rooms immediately. It is unacceptable to find such disgusting hotels!!!

Stopping at the retro decor of the common areas would be a real shame. I spent 1 week at the Thermidor hotel and I was able to appreciate the hospitality of the managers, the quality of the bedding, the impeccable cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. The proximity of the station is very significant, without having the noise annoyance.

Very nice room, modern bath, spacious, quiet, clean, just down the street from the train and bus station, like 2 blocks, so convenient. Owners are nice hard working and sweet.

Don't be put off by the building's somewhat worn exterior and surroundings; the rooms are comfortable, beautiful, and spacious. Clean and functional. There's only one window, a French door. A little odd, but you get used to it. Excellent breakfast and a very warm welcome. Very quiet, which is great.

The big advantage for us was the parking lot large enough to put a long car + bikes in a trailer hitch. Good comfort room for a *** hotel Decent breakfast. We will return there under the same conditions

Mediocre experience - ok for a night This hotel is quite dated in decor and not super well kept. The part of town it is in feels a little unsettling but it’s a short walk central to restaurants etc. The place is very secure at night.
