Campanile Nantes Centre in Nantes

Great hotel. We went to visit the Christmas market on a budget and this was a great hotel
We hopped on the bus into town which was free over the weekend and then walked to the market, was so easy. The hotel is clean, staff friendly. We didnt have breakfast. Checknout was 12pm which was great! Would happily stay there again.

Only couple of slight negatives if im picky...
-bar seemed like a waste of time, no staff really knew what they were doing and minimal drink options.
-ONE teabag in the room... two coffee sachets, two sugars and two milks, two paper cups even... but one teabag!
-shower screen doesn't suit overhead shower... water went all over the floor very easily!
-no hand towels on our forst day but there was on the second luckily. Maybe because they saw the flooded bathroom!

The location is very convenient, right next to the bus station, toiletries are available, the waiters are enthusiastic, and the hotel is very cost-effective. Recommended

The hotel is nothing special, similar to most hotel in this range. Room was clean spacious, small clothing hanging area, great shower, TV (only French station) so bring your tablet if want to watch English TV. WiFi was fine for what I needed.

The breakfast was my kind of breakfast, fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheeses, cold meats, French breads, pastries, coffee, (tea available too), scrambled eggs and bacon. Gave me enough calories to walk around exploring the city (the Nantes Pass was well used) until around 3 pm not good time to get hungry restaurants shut down and open around 7 pm. Burger, Kebabs etc only available.

There is a bar and the restaurant serves a buffet style evening meal. Did not eat there so can't comment on the food served. There is pool table, white ball and cues can be obtained from the reception. Did not play so not sure if the is a deposit or other payments.

7The location is some distance from the city centre if on foot, but the busses run every few minutes in front of the hotel up until around 23:00 then every half hour I read on one of the signs. The bus stop in either direction is a few metres from the hotel entrance. Public transport in general is pretty impressive and free with a Nantes Pass.

The two young ladies who did the evening shift during my stay were friendly, helpful and made my stay a very pleasant one

High cost performance, worth staying

My Club, chose this hotel for our staying for our European match in Nantes.

This hotel offers what you actually going to need on a business trip. Peace & Quite, comfortable beds, clean and cozy rooms. Quite small though.

Our breakfast, lunch & dinner were quite tasty with variety to choose from.

The highlight of the hotel, though, was the ease that you could reach the main city since a very frequent bus line (4) had it's station outside of the hotel.

Also nice deli and wine were offered for our celebration after the win, *look at the photos*

Perfect room. Not very far from the city center and also from a shopping center.
The only downside is no heating in the bathroom.
