Recks is managed by the same family and they do it all... the cuisine is excellent, the hotel is well appointed and the property is beautiful. Everyone was super helpful and super nice. Although the hotel is old, the rooms are really large and pretty and clean, and everything works well. Spring was blooming at the hotel gardens and it was quite a sight... highly reccomend.

We were privileged to spend our vacation in this beautiful, quiet, spacious, and well-equipped vacation apartment. From breakfast on the lovely terrace overlooking lush greenery without traffic noise, to convenient shopping nearby, the train station only about 500 meters away (perfect for those arriving by train and bike), the lovely swimming spot in the nearby Schlosssee lake, and, last but not least...

A perfect vacation apartment, just as it should be. Large, bright rooms, uncluttered, yet tastefully and practically furnished. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The location is perfect for both small and large projects, and the hosts are simply unbeatable. A perfect score! Thank you for having us.

Arrive and feel at home. Bright, tastefully furnished, and clean apartment with everything your heart desires. The landlords were very friendly and always had good tips for excursions when needed. The nearby castle lake was ideal for swimming. Our conclusion: We'll stay in this apartment again on our next Lake Constance vacation.

Very nice place, with family atmosphere! In a good and quiet position, not far from the Bodensee, with car park. Our room was not too big but nice clean and cozy. Very good breakfast and also the dinner we had at the restaurant was good.

Brilliant place. Super friendly management, great beers and schnitzels. The building is from the year 1570 and used to serve as a local courthouse!

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Stayed one night during motorbike ride from Schwarzwald to Munich. Due to local holiday the kitchen was closed but had a chance to dine in a nearby restaurant. Good breakfast gave energy for the day.

Hotel surrounded by nature, for those who want to interrupt the daily stress... Extremely kind staff, clean rooms, very nice bathroom with shower. For dinner we chose fish prepared with professionalism by Chef Meyer, and finally an explosion of emotions for the taste buds, with the almond parfet with pistachio pesto... Truly delicious!!!

Really nice, almost like time stood still. Lovely guest house, great food and comfortable rooms. Staying away from home for work, guest houses are sometimes hit and miss. This one was a definite hit, would be happy to stay again.
