Really well located friendly hotel right in the heart of the old city.

Although parking was a challenge and the hotel is undergoing renovations, we enjoyed our stay. We could walk right out to the Main Street.

The stay was a pleasure in every respect. The professional and at the same time family atmosphere of this hotel is outstanding, the employees are a real team, the commitment of the management is noticeable in every detail. Added to this is excellent food, a wide selection, impeccable service and, as a now rare luxury, a bathtub in the unusually spacious bathroom. We will be back!

Good location in the pedestrian area of Waldshut and a nice room which was clean and tidy.

What a wonderful, family-owned hotel! I enjoyed everything about my stay there. It’s located right in the beautiful historic district of Waldshut-Tiengen. I was in the midst of a solo bike trip, and the hotel provided an easy place to store my bicycle. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the rooms were reasonably priced. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel!

Really nice hotel, in the center of the small town. There's an Edeka (food supermarket) 2 minutes walk away. The spa is nice and modern, rooms are large and comfortable, and if you ask nicely, they'll even put a stool in your bathroom. Lovely staff, lovely modern rooms, with nice touches like labels on the light switches (thank yooou !!!) and alpine wood in the rooms. Oh, and if you're visiting...

The room was quite large and the bathroom was comfortable. Unfortunately there was no coffee machine or kettle provided.

My wife and I stayed at Bercher the second week of September. We were on bikes riding the Southern Black Forest Cycle Route from Freiburg. This long-time family owned and run hotel was an excellent choice for our stay. The very nice town center is a 5-minute walk. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Provided secure place for our bikes, Dinner was simply excellent and the included breakfast one...

Everything is very clean. The shower is great. The owner is very friendly. Convenient parking and great morning coffee.

We were very happy with our stay. It was 5 star service from start to finish. The room was excellent. The bathroom was better than a lot of bathrooms we've seen in more expensive hotels & our hosts were fantastic. It might be in an industrial area but the comfort, service & friendliness more than make up for it. We would definitely recommend staying there & it's only a short drive to the lovely town...

Amazing stay, the room was clean & comfortable - we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. We opted for breakfast which was good value and they even dried our wet clothes for us - just amazing service.

Very clean, warm, nice personnel, took one star for a very thin walls.

Simple hotel without few amenities. No air-conditioning or fan available and 32 degrees outside, making it a bit hard to sleep. It forces you to have the windows open, but the just outside there is a main street with people and noisy traffic. Room has no fridge, water heater, ironing possibilities, or toiletries (besides soap). No reception, so you will get a personal pin code to enter your room. ...

A very practical stay at Brauerei Walter: small and simple room, but clean and with everything I needed: small desk, clean and functioning bathroom. Great location, just a 5-minute walk from the Tiengen train station. Easy check-in process (you receive a code for the hotel / your room door). Nice breakfast in the winter garden. Free parking at the hotel. The only negative experience was the the Internet...

No real service to speak of as it's self check in. Breakfast was included and was good. Room was fine. No restaurant as such, just a breakfast. If you find yourself in Waldshut Tiengen check out the bier garten at Deli Wirtshaus

Awesome zander filet , great salad , nice and delicious first taster on the house. They have a nice wine collection though comes at a price you would expect at a Michelin star restaurant. And dessert is a must try , fruits give the extra flavour with roasted almond and ice cream. Service could be improved but i believe we arrived at peak time so thats understandable. Highly recommended! Zander filet
