We really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was HUGE, one of the biggest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. It was clean and well organised. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t eat in the restaurant however it looked beautiful. Very authentic shipyard looking.

Very good hotel, with excellent conditions, kind personell with who it is possible to talk in English. Restaurant in the hotel serve good meals and always help to order supper, after late arrival.

Excellent stay, the hotel is really in perfect state and very clean. Staff is Wonderfull in every discipline.

No air Make sure you don't end up in the Hafenturm part of the hotel. No ventilation in the rooms and no AC either. Coupled with the fact that the rooms are facing the railway line and you need to keep the window open for some chance of oxygen supply means poor sleep in very hot and noisy conditions

Good hotel at a good price. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. So tasty varied breakfasts. Great example of how from an unnecessary old building you can make a very atmospheric cozy place. Liked everything. Thank you!

Nice clean rooms, closet with a lot of space. Great breakfast, friendly staff. And on the Easter Day 2 bunnies we’re waiting for us in front of our room. Nice touch! We’ll definitely come agin!

Nice staff, good breakfast, renovated.

I have been 3 times at this hotel, two of them in 2024 before the renovation that is currently ongoing. Rooms have been renovated, they are very big, with a fridge and tea facilities, complimentary water, big desktop and big TV. Made my booking directly on the hotel's website whilst still in England and was able to make a reservation for the Meyer Werft tour at the same time. I was aiming to arrive mid-evening on the Sunday after travelling from London via Eurostar and onward by train. Unfortunately, on arrival in Brussels, I found my connecting train to Köln had been cancelled, which had the cumulative effect of my not arriving...

Nice hotel and location. Usual breakfast options (No fresh juices or waffels etc though.!) The guy sitting at reception seemed least interested in being welcoming.

I’ve been touring Germany for three years now. This place has the best breakfast buffet, period. Staff is super nice, everything here screams “come back soon”.

We came for the Meyer Werf and this hotel was a good point to start. Excellent breakfast and good wellness.

Nice locaties in Papenburg. Room is somewhat small. Breakbeat was gratis.

Good. Nice garden outside I just stayed one night. I had a nice stay. I really liked the garden with tables outside where you can sit and also bring your own food if you want. Only drawback I could notice is that no fridge was available in the room.

Really nice hotel ,clean room ,comfortable bed and bedding , I could control the room temperature which in some hotels you can’t , there was a strong food smell at times , but value for money you can’t knock the place

This place was a beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and super friendly staff. Room was big and beautiful and when i asked to be moved to the first floor for easy access for me and my bike they happily obliged. All around lovely place would highly recommend.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel while my husband and I visited Papenburg. The staff were professional and helpful. The hotel itself is austere but clean and bright. When I was there, the hotel's clientele were mostly older customers and their adult children.The hotel had a calm atmosphere and there was little to no noise on my floor. The rooms were a good size and had a ton of outlets and USB ports...

Great hotel for the area. Amenities were simple, and I would stay here again.

Comfortable clean rooms, good breakfast and good location in town

First of all I would like to mention very tasty breakfasts with a variety of dishes and snacks… During the ten days of my staying in the hotel I was never disappointed with quality of products. Thank You a lot for such delicious food☺️ 🤤 Rooms are clean and quite comfortable. There is also enough space for storage luggage and all things 🤗

This is a great little hotel, in quite a good location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food was very good and the rate was very reasonable. The staff were all very welcoming, and were only too happy to help! If and when I am back in Papenburg, I would happily stay here again!
