I stayed here on business and was slightly nervous after reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. However, I should not have worried. Is this a super modern five star luxury resort? No, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It is however one of the most warm and friendly places I’ve stayed for ages. Every single staff member was lovely and they all coped well with me speaking no German whatsoever...

Stayed here 30 years ago on our honeymoon, it is still almost exactly the same. Typical German hotel room, no tea/coffee. Wouldn't like to stay here in the summer, no air con and lots of road noise when you sleep with the window open. Location is good for touring the surrounding area.

Good all round old fashioned hotel, excellent breakfast buffet. Only missing tea and coffee making facilities in room. But you can get a coffee or tea fom the bar.

Lovely hotel, very central. Rooms clean and a good size

It is a decent 3-star hotel located in the center of the town. The rooms are spacious and nice, but they are a bit worn down at the same time. The bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit basic, but they can make you an omelet on the spot, which is excellent, and good coffee as well. It maybe a bit pricey but for its 3 stars is pretty good without being pretentious.

Hotel Hoeltje is well-run hotel in a quiet street the centre of town. The owner takes great pride in providing a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. We had a very spacious top floor room with a little balcony. The staff at the reception is very welcoming, knowledgeable and always keen to help. For breakfast the hotel offers a variety of cooked to order dishes, a choice of cold meats, cheeses, fruits...

We used to stay here and always good service. Remember the lovely bar with a girl called ute Bernstein. If i go to verden again, this is the place(many years ago i was here but it looks as good)

Dreadful "mood lighting", so you can;t see a thing. Our room was on the ground floor facing the street. You can;t leave the curtains oepn, or open the windows as someone could easily get in. Very stuffy as no fans. It would be abysmal in summer as no fans. We were told breakfast at 6.30. Nope. Mistake 7.30. Reception stuff weren't good at interacting. Very pleasant few days here. Well located centrally to town and River Aller walks. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable, made up nicely daily by room service. Windows gave great light and ventilation to room. Breakfast was excellent, great choice and plentiful, nice clean breakfast room. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Only negative was gardener using noisy machinery VERY early in morning

Very nice and clean hotel, public transport bus 740 runs every hour, If you walk further up you will get 🚌 38/39/40 which takes you the tram station which is very convenient

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and we were happy with the cleanliness, comfort and service. The buffet breakfast was varied and well presented. We were staying on the 2nd floor and noticed an odour in the hallways which I detected in our en suite as well.

We paid 20euro for one night here and I was impressed really. Location isn't great as there's not much nearby but the tram stops are close. Rooms were comfortable and staff made it easy to check in. Would stay here again for 1 or 2 nights

One of the cheapest way to stay at Bremen. 5 minutes walking to trams to the center, Burger King nearby. Only for hardcore travellers, not recommended to stay with children - very (VERY!) durty floor in the rooms (at least in 210). Died and dried insects on the walls. Noizee ventilation. The personal doesn't read 'Do not disturb' label. The bed linon is very clean and comfortable. Vending machines...

Had problems with the 24h check in and could therefore not enter our room, however the reception handled the problem very well and funded the difference to the hotel in which we had to stay. I was very happy with how the situation was handled.

Nice rest stop hotel with 24/7 reception The room was great. They have 24/7 staff for check in which was very convenient. The room was nice and clean. However, the bed was not that comfy, it was old and not in a good condition anymore.

Convenient stop close to the autobahn.

We stayed here one night with our dog when driving through and had a very smooth experience overall. The hotel is maybe a little on the older side but very clean and with spacious rooms. It’s also very conveniently located near the autobahn and the reception was open 24/7, which was exactly what we needed.

Don't know what all the fuss is about. I stayed here a night and the service was excellent. True some places were dirty but I wasn't bothered by some spider web on the ceiling... And the breakfast was as good as any breakfast, I'd probably come here again as long as it is not for a long period of time... Button line, it's an excellent place for a short term stay!

Nice room and facilities. Excellent service. But please change the green lobby furniture (seats and sofas): one can sit down into them but one is only able to crawl out of them! Especially if one is older ...

Great breakfast buffet and clean rooms.

MEB Never again AC is only in few rooms and is very noisy. Dinner was disaster. Burned out fried potato. I asked for ketchup did not get it. Price from the roof for dinner. Breakfast also rather limited selection and coffee - it was rather brown water.

Nice Service, friendly people, really clean rooms and the Art is very cool. It is really worth it to stay here. Breakfast was not included and I went and asked if I can buy two coffee and a bottle of water at breakfast and they charged the water and gave the filtercoffee for free. Thumbs up and a clear recommondation from me.

In Bremen, the Hanse Komfort Hotel was us as an inexpensive, well-run Hotel is recommended. We have been lucky enough to get a renovated room. The highlight of this was not only the very modern furnishings, but with a Parking spot right in front of our hotel room. Very practical. The ambience, the staff and the Breakfast were excellent.

Herzlichen Dank! Personnel were very friendly and helpfull. Most of them able to speak english. Hotel itself i found comfortable. Clean and bright rooms, warm enough if required. Yes, bathroom is quite small, but still enough space if you visiting it without your friends =). Free WiFi. I enjoy breakfast, but was not much impressed by menu of the restaurant, but it could be question of tastes. Localisation...

Good location very close to bus stop. It is very nice suburb of Brema. Not very far from city center. Clean and spacious room. Cleaning during stay was not the best. I do not understand the idea of paid parking for car since on the street parking id for free. Nice view from room.

Quiet location, absolutely beautiful hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and tidy. Staff speak English and German fluently. Breakfast had many options and was delicious. The only thing I’d improve is to open the bar on Mondays too for people on holiday.

A pleasant stay and central to my desired location. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately apart from a full buffet I was told there were no bar snacks (not even nuts/olives etc) on Saturday evening to accompany my drink. It would have been nice to have a more relaxing place to enjoy a drink in the evening.

I booked a comfort plus room with a breakfast. I changed the room to be just comfort, received a partial refund for this. At the checkin I found out that I had no breakfast anymore! Turns out it was silently cancelled when I changed the room, and I was not notified or refunded for it. Unfortunate. Facilities are good, except for the clog in the sink that you need to take out to let the water flow

Rooms and quiet location very good. Even if all parking spaces are occupied, you can always find a space on the street. Unfortunately some inconsiderate, noisy long term guests.

Extra condition rooms, everything neat and clean. I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel for 3 weeks - the service at the highest level. The facility is located on the outskirts of the city.

Everything automated when checking in at the hotel.... but beds are good... Ambience OK... Bathroom top... everything new.... Terrace where you can also smoke.... Gladly again...

Chic new hotel with mini kitchen. The hotel room is relatively large. What takes getting used to is the wall-folding bed, which is quite high when folded down. Shops are right next to the hotel. The hotel operators take care of any concerns immediately. Here again my special thanks.

The location is excellent for public transportation. Good connections to the city center. The room was quite okay. The bathroom is in desperate need of renovation.

Traveling in group? Visiting Bremen?? Then lodge at Hotel Heldt. Nice and spacious dormitory rooms. Three and four in a room with a bath and toilet. Not far from University Bremen. Good breakfast as well.

Worth every star! Returning to this hotel for the second time and we just love staying here. Large and clean apartments. Pet friendly hotel.

Check-in is from 12 p.m., and by 1 p.m., the room still wasn't ready. It was very noisy during the three nights: clattering, slamming doors, etc. The furnishings have seen better days. The narrow and winding staircase made it difficult to navigate with a suitcase.

Very clean, Good service and well lit parking lot

We booked a family room at this hotel. We got one on the second floor. It was nice and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the green garden. The second room I booked on the ground floor was less roomy. In the evening we reserved breakfast and breakfast time. In the morning all was prepared for us. Breakfast was pretty good, staff were friendly. A good place to stay on our way to Serengeti park.

Top Hotel, one of the best I have ever been to (during business travels). Very nice and friendly owners, kind of a family atmosphere, nice breakfast, superb rooms, very high equipment quality. So all in all well deserved 5 stars.

Ambiance, management, quality of room, location and food and drink was excellent.

Right on the tram line, if you can work out how to get tickets! Otherwise a 25 minute walk from the city centre. Rooms are ample size, clean and well decorated. WiFi throughout and free car ports behind the building. Service was outstanding. Mario is a lovely host. Put up with our complete lack of German. Can't fault anything. Would recommend.

This is one f the best hotels I stay in. It is very comfortable and cozy. It seems the owner takes great pride in this place. It’s located on a little peninsula away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place is extremely clean. Breakfast is great and there’s parking. A place I can highly recommend.

An oasis of calm and tranquillity after a nightmare journey on the German autobahn system, whereby the A1 was completely closed to all traffic for roadworks. And nobody was working on it on a Sunday, fantastisch ! We arrived 5 hours later than anticipated to be greeted by Cory who is always smiling and happy and shown to our room. Clean and spotless, as always and quiet too. A very good nights sleep...

The staff were incredibly friendly and went so far above and beyond during my stay. I would highly recommend staying here. The breakfast is delicioius, the bed was super comfortable, everything was spotless, and everyone on staff was warm and accomodating and did so much to make my stay an enjoyable one. I cant praise them enough.

This is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed at in Germany. We stayed for 5 nights, parking is provided at the rear of the hotel and an Italian restaurant is just around the corner. Breakfast is fantastic with a huge variety of tastes. The hotel and rooms are kept spotlessly clean. Highly recommended to all travellers, looking forward to returning soon.

Rooms are clean and very well furnished. Bathroom modern. Staff was friendly but spoke very little German. Breakfast too expensive. No fresh rolls (only pre-baked rolls). Great location near the Weser Stadium. Fantastic view of the Weser River. We will definitely come back.

The receptionist was extraordinary. The breakfast buffet was perfect and the coffee very delicious. The room had a great view over the river and the hotel is perfectly located close to all relevant sightseeing spots.

Nice hotel in good location, limited parking places

Perfect hotel just by the river Weser. Free parking, tidy room, fantastic view and friendly staff. But the breakfast could have been better. Just plain cooffe and bread. But, but, I would stay here next time I come to Bremen, the city I love soo much.

The hostel is easy to get to. There are some unsavoury characters hanging around the neighbourhood but not directly outside the hostel. Facilities were ok, but the dorms really need privacy curtains. There were also dishes regularly left in the kitchen sink. Staff were great. However, some sorta social events should be organised as there was no atmosphere.

I booked here again and I find this time quite good.

The location of the hostel is very good, easy to walk in all directions. There is a private toilet and shower per room. The kitchen is open, meaning everyone can use it. It's a very good price. I found the place clean. There is internet and a socket near the bed.

I stayed here for a week in a one bed room with a private bath. The place is clean, has a kitchen and is situated in a great location, close to the river and the main train station. The staff is friendly (big thanks to the handsome guy who helped us with our laundry). The only disadvantage was the cooktop which didn’t really work. But I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends.

Just adding onto my review from November 2021 after staying for a duration of times a couple times in May 2022. Townside has pretty much everything a traveller needs, and the location is great. The staff are friendly and accommodating (big shoutout to Darleen). Gets a little hot on the top floor.

Amazing hostel, the girl at the reception has amazing vibes and is super welcoming and friendly (red hair blue eyes), very clean, quiet and well located. Perfect hostel in my eyes ! And cheap !!

Very nice hotel, we only stayed for 1 night but was good. Only thing is the water shower is randomly superhot then you have to keep re adjusting. If your kids likes to shower maybe an issue.

Myself, a german living abroad and my family, seasoned travellers to Germany for several years felt a great sense of positive nostalgia when we stayed over at the Hotel Schnehagen. The rooms were clean and roomy, good size bathrooms and beds. The style of furniture reminded us all of the German hotels of past years, in a very positive, genuine way. We stayed at the hotel as a family and were very pleased with our room. Everything was very tidy and well-equipped. The breakfast was very appealing and varied, with something for everyone. The staff was very friendly, and any minor issues were addressed immediately. We thank you for your hospitality, and if we're ever in the region again, we'd be happy to return.

The location and the mattresses are top-notch. The rooms are tidy, although some areas could use some renovation. Upon arrival, a quick check of the room and amenities should be done, and any complaints should be addressed immediately. The hosts aren't on-site 24/7 and would otherwise have to make a special trip. Be sure to ask about the house rules upon check-in to avoid any misunderstandings. In...
