For this stay I booked for my friend I have to put my credit details into this booking as ******* asked me but this payment from ******* was not going thru hotel, that means i have to pay directly at hotel. That's NOT nice in my view because my friend who checked in that hotel got confused why hotel said i haven't pay for him for this stay. Not nice !

Hotel was nice, internet wasn’t.

House keeping tried to enter room forcibly I was very shocked that room service tried to enter my room TWICE without me giving consent. At 9am on a Sunday, they knocked on my door and after I indicated that someone was in the room, they tried to open the door with their key. Hotel was comfortable and very clean. We were very grateful that they kept the kitchen open later than usual as we arrived later than expected, and this allowed us still to get dinner, so that was appreciated! A good value hotel that I would be happy to return to.

The hotel was lovely, comfortable and well maintained. It is in the main road so there was a bit of traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable but the sheets were very rough.

Good one Basic but what you need is there for 2-3 days' business trip. Bed, shower, restaurant. Nice park nearby, go left from the hotel. You can go for a run or bike ride. Decent breakfast and dinner (extra paid). Helpful staff, they speak English.

Of course, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the food was good. What I especially liked was that the owners, unlike in most restaurants I know, were not only friendly but also really cared that I am vegan. Nice place to stay. It's a bit far out of the city center but it had free breakfast which was very nice and nice staff and comfy rooms as well. I would stay there again.

Lovely modern hotel. Restaurant is excellent as well, could not fault my meal there. Only down side for me was it is remote but I think others would love that!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The location was amazing, the staff was extremely friendly and supportive, the room was very clean and had everything to enjoy our stay, the breakfast buffet was mind blowing. Bottom line, it was an amazing and perfect stay. We would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel and can’t wait to come back !!

Only used the restaurant for an evening meal, but it was superb and would definitely go again when in Bad Benthiem.

Traveled for work and stayed for 2 weeks here. Great place, very kind and friendly staff, rooms cleaned almost daily, excelent food. Will return here if i will get to work again in the area.

A very nice experience, the restaurant owner came to say hello to everyone, the obers were real gentlemen, and I appreciated that. I am not crazy about Italian food and I have some allergies so my food was pretty plain, but my kid and husband were very satisfied. I highly recommend this place.

Good dining experience, good food and a variety of music. Our first server was very friendly and made some jokes, although it was a bit too much at some point. The other server was very quiet and didn't know what flavours of ice cream would be in our desert. Overall the food was very good and tasted and looked nice. We had a good evening.

Many (Italian) dishes to chose from and fair prices. Nice staff and good quality food. The thing I appreciated the most however, was the efficiency of the service, no waiting around for someone to take your order, cook the food or give you the bill. Overall a really plecant experience

Owners are very friendly and helpful, room was very clean and all areas and furniture was very good and comfortable. When we were shown our room the owner even explained how the adjustable headend worked so that we could raise each side individually. Overall one of the best small hotel/b&b that we have stayed in and the area is also very good.

Hotel Grossfeld is conveniently located near Bad Bentheim castle and a 7 minutes walk from the railway station on a rather unattractive square. The room I had was fine, but slightly outdated, just what I expected from this smalltown hotel.

Great hotel in a great town. Excellent breakfast and staff. Staff spoke english. Parking is available off-site. Small elevator which is also a plus! Overall we were very pleased. The only negative was price. We just spent 2 weeks in Germany and this was our most-expensive hotel.

The staff were so lovely, and the room was absolutely gorgeous, with a lovely terrace. Breakfast was lovely, traditional German, with plenty of variety!

The hotel is good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is several separate buildings between them, if it is raining will have to prevent this. One-night stay in this traditional farmhouse hotel. We liked the quiet location and the good bed, also the cleanliness. We agreed with the other reviews about the unfriendly restaurant staff, none of them seem to want to be there, let alone let you feel welcome. On a positive side, beautiful garden and very good breakfast, too.

A beautiful property with a very good restaurant. Everything was spotlessly clean, the tables were set with fabric and the food was excellent. The tagliatelle with shrimp was incredibly tasty. I have never enjoyed such good and juicy shrimp. The pork fillet with new asparagus was also very good. Gladly again soon.

Located in the middle of greenery with a golf course and sauna. Also an ideal starting point for cycling. The rooms are comfortable, but have little quirks here and there. Service and cleanliness is excellent. There is a minibar in this hotel, but with high prices. The surroundings are simply beautiful and invite you to take long walks or bike rides. I'm looking forward to next time!

We had already booked the holiday apartment on the first floor of the Spieker in winter a long time ago. We felt very comfortable there back then. The rooms were very clean, the location was perfect, quiet and very scenic. We really enjoyed our walks in the area and were able to switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Maybe one day we'll come back here. :)

Staff were exceptionally helpful and hotel itself and rooms were very clean

We were just stayed here for 1 night with my little baby. I like the middle door which connects 2 rooms, good for family or close friend to visit each other without going out from their own room. Only one thing I was not so satisfy is, headboard (the head of the bed) is directly under the window, cold wind was blowing on our heads for the whole night.

Very nice the rooms are excelent and clean but the only misfortune was that at this time it was very hot and the rooms are not catered with ACs so you can imagine how one can have a good sleep.

The hotel is great, well placed to go to the center of Bad Benteim. The breakfast is good too. I don't know why but the water was cold when I tried to wash myself at 5:30AM as I had to go to the airport after. Very bad surprise.

We only stayed one night, we did not use any of the facilities on offer but was still shown and informed about them. they looked good and in very good order, would stay there again.

Nothing spectacular. Good for a night sleep. The beds zould use an upgrade as the wood is painful for getting out of bed.

Amazing experience. This is called a hostel but it is more of a hotel. Gets a lot of young people and sporting clubs. I found it great as a wheelchair user.
