We felt very comfortable in the suite, which is very well equipped. The bathroom is very spacious and the shower is a dream. Our dog was also very welcome. The breakfast was very varied. Highly recommended. Price-performance is right!

I liked the tastefully renovated old premises. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It’s an interesting hotel with a history and has its own special charm. The breakfast was excellent, a huge choice of everything, fresh veggies and fruit.

I love the style of the hotel and the staff is very friendly. The bed is a little bit noisy and the walls are somewhat thin but that is not a problem. The breakfast buffet is very delicious, a lot of choice and also healthy options. We also fancied the bar, many choices for good drinks.

The hotel is ok, a bit old but it has some “charm”. Don’t expect luxury but beds are good. DO NOT dine here. For the first time in my life I had to send the meal back to the kitchen. It was inedible.

Interesting hotel main building with period decor, even a suit of armour! Rooms are in a modern wing and are good. Service is very good. Food is good but if you are a vegetarian, like me, be aware there are only 2 choices so if you stay 3 days or more..... Also no restaurant or bar service from 10am to 5pm. No lunch or coffee - you must get in your car and look elsewhere. Pool closed for maintenance...

It is a beautiful old hotel, one time it was a grand luxurious hotel but it has lost its shine a bit due to maintenance issues but nothing some handy work can't fix. it's old glory can been seen all around, beautiful marmer floors, extremely detailed decorated walls and ceilings, you will not find this anywhere else. Good location for Köln Messe visitors. Very decent breakfast, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Only carpets need some attention.

Nice hotel for staying as a transit hotel

The hotel is clean and has its own style. A stay for work in the near area for a few nights is ok. Köln is more than 40 km away. There is a large parking place, just 30 meters away. Keep care for speeding control when you arrive. That's all.

Breakfast is pretty good. The only thing is the bed is kinda uncomfortable with only one pillow that was hard to get settled in. If your on business be mindful the some of the staff don't speak English.

2x for 3 weeks was already in the Hotel. Very clean, good Breakfast for all Wishes fulfilled, WiFi. A very friendly and courteous staff. In particular, the good Fairy, Mrs K., who has patience of an angel. In fact, a beautiful nice surroundings, beautiful nature.

Cheap but good accommodation place for those who just want to rest, to sleep, or passing through would like to.

Delicious steaks and pleasant staff.

The room is very small and also the bathroom. There were beds two single and the room as DZ was given. The beds can also be used to bring together and close. Wifi is fast and everywhere accessible.

First: We didn't stay there (unfortunately)... If the rooms are only half as comfortable as the dining room, you can only give 5 stars ☺️ We stopped in there and enjoyed Bergische waffles and apple strudel! Very nice, fast and friendly service and everything freshly prepared! Thank you and : We will definitely come back here again.

For me one of the best country inns in Germany. My room, the location, the architecture, the outdoor area, the great kitchen and the excellent breakfast: everything was 1A. But I would particularly like to highlight the sovereign, competent and authentically friendly staff. I felt extremely comfortable here. M.E. 5 stars are not enough.

The location is perfect as it is close to the motorway which after a full day's driving is very convenient. The added plus of this hotel is a good restaurant and being able to have an early breakfast for the onward journey. I've been coming to this place for 15 years and have never been disappointed. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. A perfect stopover place.

Perfect location with motivated personal, best diner, drinks and with a day with the rented E-bikes totally nice and good. The beergarden and restaurant give a stay for perfect days.

Great place for a small business event

The staff was very friendly & accommodating, the Service is above average. The cleanliness of the rooms and in the rest of the building top! The Breakfast was rich, there's something for everyone. A Restaurant & beer garden are directly connected. The food is phenomenal, and my opinion of the price/performance ratio completely okay! A highway's on-ramp "directly in front of the door", nevertheless...

Not suitable for families! Craftsmen who need their rest after work in the evening shouldn't necessarily spend the night here, as it is very noisy in the house. No Internet. The heating did not work in the bathroom or living room. There is a lot of unrest in the house. The room doors are not tight, it pulls through.

Friendly owners but our family room was very small

A really excellent place to stay .. super clean, very stylish .... easy to reach, great view ... a really good bed ... great bathroom .... you won't find the offer including minibar anywhere ... the voucher for the fitness studio .. all inclusive .... with sauna ... super well thought out .... we'll be back ...

Rooms.5 with a view of the lake is simply wonderful and the weather was also perfect in mid-October. In the special edition there is something to eat around the clock. With the little boat over the Biggesee or just going for a walk, fits👍

Small nice hotel right on the lake. Check in follows on the extra sheet. Everything was straightforward. We had room no. 1 very quiet and comfortable with a terrace directly into the green.

Very nice view and comfortable room. The only bad thing is that there were a lot of spiders on the ceiling outside on our balcony. For the price it could have been included breakfast as they apparently cooperate with the extra Blatt coffee. But anyway, we had nice days in Olpe anyway 😊

Beautiful rooms, very clean and air-conditioned. Unfortunately our key was broken and we couldn't get into our room. It took us over an hour to reach someone. The lady was very nice and could also help us, but as I said, it took forever to get someone on the phone.

Great hotel in the heart of Olpe, Germany. (Very close to Koln). Modern, clean and comfortable rooms. Free parking included. Very pleasant staff offering excellent service. The breakfast buffet is worth taking with great food quality.. Homemade preserves, nice selection of breads, cheeses and even miniature schnitzels. I highly recommend this hotel to all types of guests. You are well located...

Very very cozy. Not giving full stars because there is no water kettle to boil tea in the room. No garbage bags in the bins in the room either BUT it has a good TV, nice soaps and good bed. 2021 edit: After a revisit I must say that the hotel has done great improvement to the food and it's extremely neat. From 3 to 5 stars. Good job.

We were booked in this hotel for one night. The room price/double room for single use of €180,- gives us a lot to expect... Unfortunately, 4 stars on the door are not enough to justify these prices - the service has to be up to par here too. After arriving, we were told that the terrace was not open yet, the weather had not been so good before?! It was already the 3rd weekend where temperatures were...

The trip to the Hotel Diehlberg was really great. We felt totally at home - the wellness was a cool break and the food was amazing. We just had a great time. The rooms were nice too. The wellness treatments were also worth mentioning.

They upgraded our room with one in the ground floor, more spacious and with a balcony overlooking the nature! Staff was pleasantly helpful and polite. Breakfast was charged extra but there was a plethora of tasteful options to pick. We didn't tried the restaurant but it wasn't busy the might we stayed. Pick Albus if you want to feel the atmosphere of traditional stay. WiFi was a bit weak at...

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean and roomy with the most comfortable mattress, that rivaled our memory foam mattress at home. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was the perfect balance of sweet and filling. The dinner options were mouth watering, I wish I could eat there every day. We cant’t wait for our next visit.

The Hotel is situated just minutes away from the house I grew up in. Stayed there for the first time due to my parents selling their home. Absolutely gorgeous. Rooms are very nice, and beds are to die for. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food is something you would find in a large city hotel. Very good location: 30min away from Cologne by car, in the middle of the mountains and near a beautiful lake. It's the perfect place to escape from the city from a weekend and enjoy the beauty of nature... Plus, the staff is very nice and the breakfast (a buffet) is very good. My room was comfy and extremely clean, and I loved the view on the garden. I highly recommend!

Nice place in a refurbished countryside Manor. The restaurant is highly recommended. However rooms are scattered in the forest: I needed a car ride to reach my room from the reception!

Excellent venue, location and service.

Great experience and choice for people/ couples in love, it is a bit noisy on the street, but above all comfortable refurnished - the terrace is very sunny in the morning, where you might enjoy breakfast. A really good bakery is reachable in only a few minutes in walking distance.

The owner was very nice and helpful, but the accommodation was a bit dirty, with lots of cobwebs, a hose from the sink downstairs coming off, and a flood. OK for a short break, but not so suitable for a longer stay. The price/performance ratio wasn't exactly justified.

A good place to enjoy the evening in a relaxed good Piedmontese cuisine. A very attentive and personal Service round off the facilities on offer. Definitely recommended.

Very friendly service, extremely tasty food. The Linguini in a lemon cream sauce were perfectly matched with the warm weather and super. Just the right dose of lemon. The chocolate cake for dessert was a true dream.

I love to go there in the morning for Breakfast. The ingredients are high quality and very Tasty. The Service is friendly and accommodating. And the best part are the prices, can be found in this quality no comparable offer! I can only recommend it!

Now called Piamontheka, it is a good place to meet with friends. We did a brunch. The food tasted delicious and the service taked care very well. Only a little bit more space would be better. Overall I recommand this place!

The cancellation service has been great. I couldn't travel because Germany has Covid restrictions in place and I had no problems at all. I hope to visit then later and pay them back twice :)

Hotel Good & easily accessible. Good house keeping & well maintained.

The staff are friendly but the rooms need a lot of work. There was no where to put or hang your clothes. The bathroom was small and it was difficult to watch the TV. Restaurant was very good.

The Hotel was really old but Not in a good way. The bed was fine even though the matress was Split up in two. The bathroom was very small. Not to great For that price in my opinion but Overall fine für a night or two.

We had a nice overnight stay in the Hotel Alt Lennep after a bike tour through the Bergisch. We received a very warm welcome and were even allowed to park our bikes in a garage protected from the rain. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean, cozy and rustic. The breakfast was simple but good and from the hotel you can quickly reach the pretty center of Lennep. We would love to come back

Very nice hotel perfectly located. Pond and terrrace is beautiful but we could not eat on the terrace…. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed mondays and yuesdays (the two days we were there)

Very pleasant received and the room was up to a couple of stains on the carpet clean. Some minutes secluded but a short drive in the midst of life. Mediterrana Sauna world is only 5 km away, highly recommended

Our stay at "Zum Schwanen" was amazing! The huge free parking just a few steps away on Schwanenplatz was a great convenience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and Christian went above and beyond, accommodating our special requests and providing extra storage for our equipment. Super nice guy and great chef!

The hotel is conveniently located, there are many restaurants and shops nearby and easy to reach on foot. The rooms are spacious and practical in terms of space. The rooms are not cleaned every day. The elevator does not work properly and therefore takes a long time. You have to wait a long time at reception until someone comes. There were not enough staff to sort out the payment the evening before

Very nice hotel, I’ve stayed there before. On my way up from a night in France I longed for eating in the very good restaurant, only to find out that it was closed on Mondays. Very bad, it is absolutely necessary if information says the hotel has a restaurant also to inform if it is closed one day a week, in this case Monday.

Very nice notalgisches Design and very beautiful historical building from the 18th century. Jahrjundert. Apparently, it is just newly renovated, but a trip to the village of Remscheid seems to be worth it. Friendly staff and a good Breakfast await you there.Very recommend value.

Perfect place to stop on the way down the A1 on Adventures. Clean room, comfortable bed and good shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant not open in early October but there is McDonald's next door for dinner or to avoid the 15eur breakfast. A good find!

Decent hotel but nothing special

...not sure of 4 starts with a bit outdated rooms, bit amenities been great, even water boiler, coffe, tee and daily refills, very friendly staff, good breakfast , nice bath room - great value for the money and good deal to go back.

Fine old fashioned hotel dating from 1664, and wobbly floors to prove it. The place has lots of character, spacious rooms and offers free coffee in a little sitting room. Top end of my usual budget but worth it.

We used the restaurant for evening dinner the Saturday before Easter as we were camping in the local Camp site just up the road. The bar is small but well appointed in the old German style which we found welcoming. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was the best we have had in Germany by far in recent months. The rump steak was excellent and the portions generous. Good value for money...
