Fantastic in every respect Fantastic hotel that delights amazing history and immaculate conditions. Brilliantly run. Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were both excellent. Great value for money. There are very few independent hotels that reach this standard. It was that good.

Excellent hotel from start to finish.

My Husband booked me a night away alone in this hotel, child free as a Christmas Present. All I can say is what a beautiful experience! The staff from the moment I checked in were extremely helpful and spoke English after noticing I struggled talking German ( I tried) The room was stunning. I had a beautiful relaxing bath in the gorgeous bathroom then a whole night of uninterrupted sleep. The bed...

We did not avail ourselves of the hotel but had lunch in its restaurant, Ristorante Vittorio. The last time I ate here, almost 40 years, the restaurant still featured German cuisine; now it is Italian. The food was very tasty: I had the linguini with sea food, and not only was the dish well prepared, it did not stint on the sea food. Highly recommended.

Always happy...I always see an update in the room...a great development...like hostels, only the business people stay at the hotel. Great service, the restaurant in the hotel is also highly recommended. The Churchill Lounge, of course, is always a pleasure.

The Hotel van Bebber has a great atmosphere. The almost historic building has a special flair. The rooms are all modern and at least my room had a large bathroom. The breakfast really left nothing to be desired. Friendly and helpful staff round off the positive impression.

Very nice and friendly hotel! Reception was kind and helpful, the room spacious and beds are good. Cushions are very soft, if that's not your style, ask for firm or bring your own. Typical German: Carpet everywhere! What's strange is the tourist tax, you will need to pay that cash. Card is only possible for your reservation. Parking is possible on the adjacent (paid) parking lot, but there are not...

A basic room with no tea/coffee in the rooms. Continental breakfast is good.

Standar rooms, clean. Hotel in good location. No reception or service after 9 pm. I recomend.

The location was perfect, the on-site parking was good, the staff were very welcoming and the room was large, quiet and clean.

Restaurant review. I ate dinner here after visiting Xanten, Christmas market. I had pork medallions and it was delicious. The service was top notch. I loved the ambiance of the surroundings and short walk from town center.

We loved this hotel; just renovated, alpine deco, comfortable beds and with a typical 🇩🇪restaurant downstairs. Walking distance to the Altstadt of Zanten. The breakfasts buffet was superb!

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice beergarten! Friendly staff.

The restaurant is highly recommended! Although the waiting time is long (>30min), the food is delicious and the staff are friendly!

We ordered typical Bavarian dishes (as this is what the restaurant is based on) and it was fantastic!! Everything we ordered was just superb. We look forward to our next visit! Highly recommended the Kaesespaetzle and anything with the WaldsteinPilze used in a creme or other type of sauce.

Very nice hotel we liked our stay. When we are in Xanten again we surrely want to stay in this hotel again. After a walk around the village looking for a restaurant we decided to have diner at the hotelrestaurant, because the menu looked the best. We were glad with our decision. The food was great. Good taste elegant presentation. Nice service.

Excellent value town centre hotel and good breakfast

The quality of food was quite good and the menu had some interesting dishes. The service was very fast despite a busy evening at the restaurant and quite friendly as well. Didn't like the fact that you need to pay extra for ordering vegetables instead of potatoes.

Really easy check in on the machine outside. The cycling facilities were excellent; secure garage and the best bike pump I have ever used :) Nice connected room for two groups of two.

A nice modern room. Clean and quiet area. Contactless check-in works great. Parking at the house, a short walk to town. Gladly again.

The room was well equipped, the bed was big and comfortable. There was coffee and tea with a kettle in the room. It was really very good for a business overnight stay.

Its a nice concept with no service, no reception. Everything works smooth with ATM like checkin machine. Small rooms with just enough space for a bed and a small table. Can not complain. The rooms are very clean. Opposite is a super market and the city centre is within walking distance.

The very best kind of family-run business and service - in stunning natural environment

I've spent about a month at this family owned hotel. Even though it's a quiet location (exactly my preference), within walking distance you can reach everything important. The family running the hotel is very nice and flexible if the guests have special requests. Really made me feel at home. Looking forward to my next stay there!

Perfect country feeling in this quiet hotel. The nature is so close in all directions, if you really want to relax in this area this is the perfect place to do it. One thing is better than the location and environment: the family. Their hospitality in all aspects were perfect. You can feel you are a member of this nice family. 🦇

Probably the best place to stay in the vicinity. I spent a few weeks here and it was just amazing. Shops / restaurants are in 5-10 min walking distance in the lovely town of Xanten. The owners of the hotel were so friendly and welcoming that at the end of my stay I felt like I'm part of the family. I will definitely visit again.

I have spent here several weeks and I enjoyed my stay. It's a family run hotel where people are kind and take care of everything. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, the area is calm. However the hotel is in the outskirt of Xanten it's easy to walk into the city center within 20 minutes. To stay here is highly recommended.

It was truly AMAZING! We stayed there because our car broke down but everything exceeded my expectations. The hosts even made breakfast earlier for us. Truly amazing experience
