Astypalaia Town, Chora-Astypalaia 🧭 Map
Another wonderful stay at the Andromeda in Astypalea. The rooms are modern spacious and spotless, all offering beautiful views of the Chora and the sea from your balcony. There are quite a few steps to reach the property, but it is absolutely worth it. Irini is the most gracious host, the breakfast is amazing, and they also offer free transportation to and from the airport. Highly recommend!
Super hotel, super hotel keeper, we had the best view on the island.. They offered homemade breakfast, which was also great. Our favorite hotel ever...
So far we have only been in here for a couple of hours, but it is perfect. The view is outstanding, the bed comfortable and enormous, TV, equipped kitchen area, nice bathroom, shampoo etc, water and juice in the fridge, small packs of biscuits, towels, lovely linen. So far so perfect!
Amazing stay at Andromeda! Exceptional view over the main city, great breakfast, beautiful rooms and, most importantly, very friendly and welcoming service. Thank you!
Excellent host, the best view and great breakfast! If we return to the island, we will stay at Andromeda resort again! Thanks!
We visited in August and were pleasantly surprised! The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from the charming village center (Chora) and only 10 minutes from the port on foot. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping, which is something I really value. Spacious and comfortable, they also offered a breathtaking view that made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious...

Nice & polite staff. Good breakfast and clean rooms
Hospitality is a word equal to Greek philoxenia and yes! Frosso and Anargyros they provide quality and efficiency in order to taste the utmost unique experience of Greece! Kudos for being ambassador of the Aegean tourism!
Strategic location, close to Cora but also to the port. Spacious, complete rooms, all with a terrace overlooking the sea, some with a Jacuzzi. The breakfast served on the terrace is truly the best with sweet, savory, eggs, cakes, fruit, juices, omelettes, espresso, and every day something new. The owner is very kind and thoughtful, free transfer from the airport.
Room with a view! We had a lovely 3 night stay here during a recent island hopping trip. We had been to Astypalea previously so knew what to expect and the view from our room was as good as we remembered. The room was modern, very well equipped and had a fantastic large balcony with an egg chair where I spent a lot of time drinking wine and admiring the view. We had breakfast included and it was excellent...
The location, the view, and most of all the owner. She went above and beyond, and her home made breakfast.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Overlooking the magnificent Chora and Aegean Sea. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The balcony was quite spacious and was perfect for stargazing. The breakfast was delicious and we had so many options to choose from every day. Thumbs up for offering greek products/pies, etc in the menu. If I am not mistaken the jams were made...

Astypalaia Town, Chora Astypalea 🧭 Map
Firstly, Astypalea is a wonderful peaceful island but I would call it 'no frills' - if you are expecting 5 star flashy hotels you will not find them here! It was perfect for us, we wanted peace and quiet with no nightclubs and loud music. It is a very authentic greek island. We met many greeks and Italians but only one other english couple. We were very happy with this little family run hotel. In...
We stayed in Spa Suite Armeno for 10 wonderful sunny days. We had direct access to the swimming pool which we used several times every day, so peaceful and quiet. The Greek buffet breakfast had a great selection of home made cakes, pies sweet and savoury, yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs to name but a few. By the time we finished breakfast the room had been cleaned! We would like to thank every one at...
The hotel has 'local colour ' features and is perfectly located in the Chora. Our room had a fantastic sea view overlooking a small cove.
Breakfast had new additions daily using local products as much as possible.
Above all Maria is the most pleasant and accommodating host ever!!!! Always there to assist with anything, with the most pleasant smile!!
Ahhh Tholaria. I can't say enough about our experience at this beautiful hotel. From the moment Maria picked us up at the airport until our shuttle return 5 day's later everything was fabulous. The location-perfect! The breakfast - so much care and attention to detail. The room- so comfortable and stunning views. Maria was available to answer any question we had and Mike was a wonderful boat captain...
We chose this hotel – ‘boutique’ in size as I would dare to say of all the others in this lovely island – because of its location, almost exactly midway between the famous mills with the nearby restaurants in the heart of Chora town and Livadia, the main ‘fully-serviced’ beach in the island, both being about a 5 to 10 min. short walk from Tholaria. As a family of 4 with teenager twins, we stayed in...
Had a great stay at Tholaria! The rooms are nice and clean and the owner and staff are great, friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was good, had a variety of options every day. The room we had was very quiet, which was good for a good night sleep, the terrace was also great and had shadow in the afternoon.

Excellent boutique hotel
Room are modern updated and chic
Bed was fine
Food was excellent. They make omelets on request and specialty coffees without charge
Baked good are from a nearby bakery and were excellent. We even went to the bakery to buy items
Amazing place with very efficient and kind staff! We appreciate their welcoming attitude and hospitality. The location was perfect to walk on foot to Chora. Everything was so nice; breakfast was various and high quality! Many Thanks to Irini, Chris and Elpida. See you soon Valeria and Carmine
A beautiful and stylish hotel set on the side of a hill with rooms and pool accessed by a series of steps, overlooking the sea and the town of Chora. We stayed for 5 nights in a well appointed, stunning room with two bathrooms. What really made our holiday, were the hotel staff who were absolutely fantastic. They gave us their complete attention and nothing was too much trouble for them. We cannot...
Excellent facilities, friendly customer oriented staff, great breakfast with many offerings and a chef to cook on demand, convenient location within walking distance to the old town, the astonishing Venetian time castle and the picturesque windmills!
Amazing views and a beautiful room.
We went on the boat cruise that belongs to the hotel and had a fabulous day of water activities, lunch and continuous drinks !!!
Hotel was very nice, and some of the staff were amazing, like the barista guy and chefs at breakfast and breakfast in general was exceptional! Room was ok, some of the staff at reception was a bit slow and a little confusing. Hotel is ok, but perhaps not as top notch as advertised.
Pool was not usable due to lack of cleaning and spa facilities was in disse.
