Polos Hotel in Parikia

We were extremely disappointed by this hotel, which completely failed to meet our expectations. When we booked, we thought we were staying in a quality establishment in Paros, but the experience was completely different.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the room we had reserved was ultimately unavailable. We were therefore assigned a room with twin beds for the first night, with the promise of a change the next day. The welcome was cold and unprofessional, which immediately gave us a bad impression.

The room offered was tiny, equipped with three single beds squeezed together, to the point where it was impossible to open a suitcase properly. Despite our attempts to discuss the matter, no real solution was offered. After persisting, we were simply offered to push two single beds together to make a "double bed," improvised, while we were sent to the pool to wait.

However, the pool turned out to be unusable: the water was greenish, poorly maintained, and pigeons were coming to drink from it. The appearance alone discouraged any swimming. Returning to the room to rinse off—since no shower was available near the pool—we noticed mold on the floor and door in the bathroom, as well as a dirty mirror that had clearly not been cleaned.

In short, this hotel falls far short of its promises: questionable cleanliness, poorly maintained facilities, disorganized reservation management, and deplorable reception. An experience to forget and a property we absolutely do not recommend, except for its location.
