The best accommodation we had at Pelion! The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, the view from the whole complex and the rooms is amazing! Food was awesome, even the snack bar. We had a wonderful time and recommend this place with a whole heart. We will be back 🤗 To complete the experience, we were accompanied by a sweetest cat, that wanted to cuddle all the time and slept at our balcony.

We ve just spent one week in paradise at Karavia, for many reasons. -The place and the views are truly magical, probably the best panorama in the world and we travel a lot. The perfect place to stay This hotel is perfect. Lovely big rooms with balconies...seats and sun loungers for each balcony. A gorgeous pool area...more sun loungers. But..best of all...the food and wine. A home cooked breakfast...always different each day..superb. Snacks and light bites through the day and as the sun sets over the pool...you sit in or out and enjoy a gourmet dinner worth a Michelin...

Excellent Hotel! Real family feel and Maria does anything to make your stay special - plus she is the best cook on the Pelion if you want Organic Home Cooked Traditional Food. Pool area is beautiful, have been back twice and will be back soon.

It's a small cute and quiet hotel with basically anything you might need for very reasonable price. Very clean. Delicious all-home-made breakfasts.

Nice room, clean. Friendly service. The only negatives were the bathtub very small and narrow and a lot of noise from the cars on the main road. We couldn't sleep.

I will put 3 stars only for the people there, they are very kind... But the room Yes clean, it smelled very bad, like pee really awful smell... Maybe it was humidity .... I wouldn't recommend it.. even though it has a lot of positive comments, that's why we went anyway, but this smell is really awful.

Comfortable and spotlessly clean room, with a brand new bathroom. The garden outside is so well-kept that it is an example of the care that the owners provide to the hotel itself as well as to the customers.

The plumbing needs repair, as well as some other things. Otherwise there was no serious problem. Polite and helpful owners.

We dropped by the restaurant yesterday and had the best meal yet in Greece, and we’ve had a few great ones. My wife and I shared the traditional Greek salad, which was amazing then a tropical Greek pizza. The service was amazing, what a wonderful man. This is a must. The attached hotel is also very cute.

Excellent place with very nice view and excellent service both rooms ands beach also the restaurant is incredible !! Very clean !! Fresh seafood and very good meat some nights also they have football for Europe games !! Must visit for tourists in the area

We stayed at the beach bar both days of our vacation. Very good food, excellent service, pleasant people. The breakfast was quite big, really liked it!

Our family of 4 (2 kids 7yrs old and 4.5 yrs old) stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. Beautiful hotel. Location is great as it is right in front of the beach. There is a swimming pool as well. The staff is amazing especially the breakfast and cleaning ladies. The breakfast is huge and good. We enjoyed our stay. ❤️

The location is perfect, Mrs. Popi who owns the accommodation is fantastic, very helpful and kind, the rooms are beautiful and most importantly spotlessly clean. The only thing that is certain is that when we visit Volos again, it will be one of our first choices

The room was on the ground floor and quite clean. The kitchen was adequately equipped, the only minus was the small mugs. The bathroom was quite spacious and clean. Unfortunately there was no shower curtain or screen so the floor got quite wet and dangerously slippery with just one shower. Another set of bath towel racks would also help. The room was triple but only 2 people could hang things... ...

The room was quite clean and would have been even more so if there were screens on the windows and we didn't find dead mosquitoes and flies everywhere. We stayed in a room on the ground floor with no view and the water from the automatic watering system was constantly dripping on the balcony! The positive thing is that the sea is opposite and the area is suitable for family holidays.

Argo Hotel is an excellent choice in Kala Nera. It has a perfect location — just a 2-minute walk from the beach and close to all the restaurants and tavernas. Everything you need is nearby, including a bakery, supermarket, and more. The room was great — very clean and spotless, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The hotel owner is a wonderful person — friendly, communicative, and welcoming...

Centrally located in Kala Nera, but on a quiet street, nice, clean rooms with everything you may need, including a fully equipped kitchenette, a lovely big balcony to have breakfast on and a super comfortable huge bed. And the best is Paris, the manager, who is the kindest person and will do everything to make your stay as nice as possible.

Wonderful owners, spotless rooms, restaurants with delicious food in walking distance, amazing sea 50 meters to the hotel. We loved Kala Nera and Hotel Argo. We will definitely come again for longer stays.

We stayed for four nights… The hotel was in a very good location and spotlessly clean! Mr. Stratos, the manager, was a very kind man, helpful and available to us for whatever we needed! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend their vacation.. This is the first time we have found such treatment with social tourism tickets!! Thank you very much for your service!!

Mr. Stratos is very kind, helpful and professional. I have never seen such kind staff! Whatever we needed, they served us immediately. The rooms are spotless. It is a hotel, with an elevator and private parking! It is located in the heart of Kala Nera and next to the sea! At breakfast there were 3 wonderful ladies who greeted us every day with a smile!!!! Clean, friendly environment, next to an organized beach and on a coastal street that becomes a pedestrian street on weekend afternoons!

To get to the elevator you have to climb some stairs this is a disadvantage, we stayed we had a quadruple room with 2 rooms with large spaces very good for a family with 2 children! Breakfast not for big demands, the basics were there. The staff very kind and helpful!

We had a lovely experience. I want to thank Maria and Alex who served and helped us with all the little details and big details and gave us the best experience we had especially in this eras that has no supermarket and gave us umbrella to the beach and recommended on the best beach ever !! Petradi Hotel in Kamaki Pilio offers a peaceful and charming stay with stunning views, excellent service, and cozy accommodations, making it a perfect getaway with beautiful Greek scenery.

A pearl nested in a charming mountain village overlooking the sea. Very friendly staff, great and comfortable room, nice breakfast.... Only one regret, we didn't stay longer.

Located in a small village near Mount Pelion, the hotel is a hidden gem of the Magnesia region. The whole area around the Pagasitikos golf is a land of myth and history, here was the land of Chiron centaurus whose apprentice was Achilles and Hercules...

One of the best hotels in the area, with a magnificent view and very nice garden. Very relaxing. Breakfast and the restaurant of the hotel were delicious. Parking space is available.

We spend four days at Agapitos Villas and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the beautiful environment, the wonderful food and the unlimited hospitality of the hotel. Agapitos Villas is the perfect place to sit back and relax and let the hotel staff give you a threat. We can recommend the hotel to anyone who is in for some excellent holidays. Had the most wonderful stay at Agapitos. Full experience with the wonderful filoxenia from all staff and the lovely room, and pool and views. It is also perfectly location at Ag Ioannis to be able to visit some of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Car is required. I would it hesitate to stay at Agapitos again. Awesome cuisine! wonderful plates skillfully cooked with local ingredients. Service slow on busy times.Some of the wines weren’t actually available . Added bonus the sea view, book early!

Clean and quiet room and friendly staff. However disappointed by the closed pool and SPA/Massage facilities and personnel. Only one person for massage and therefore full and they couldn’t arrange time for me and my wife to get it at least consequently. On the other hand I was unlucky because that week, sea was forbidden due to pollution from dead fishes. So I can’t comment on sea in front of the hotel

A seaside hotel in the heart of Agios Ioannis. The location is just right, with views of the sparkling blue sea and the mountain. The room was clean, comfortable and decorated in traditional Greek style. We appreciated the attention to detail and daily housekeeping service. Zefiros hotel is located in the best spot of Agios Ioannis: it is quiet, close to the parking area and with great view to Aegean Sea. Service is extremely good and the people very friendly and respectful. I would add that Zefiros hotel has a very nice patio surrounded by trees and flowers where you can enjoy an evening coffee without being annoyed by pedestrians. Definitely, I will book a room there...

A great place to spend your vacations. It is located in the best spot of Agios Ioannis in a walking distance from all the three beaches (Papa Nero, Plaka and Ag. Ioannis main beach), while being close the main parking lot. Furthermore, it is located by the main road but it is quiet. The room was clean while the staff was very friendly. We stayed in August 2023 for 2 nights, as wd were last minute and we could not find more. Very spatious apartment for a family of 4 with kitchen, with double view - sea and garden, well located near the beach, restaurants and public parking, but in a quiet area. Changed sheets and cleaning room every day. Guys at the reception very helpful.

Warm welcome from the hosts and very good behavior during the stay. Room was very clean every day, thanking the cleaners. Terrace with a see view, 50m from the first beach, for every recommendation. Quite and small place, perfect for couples with small children, with great beaches around. Approach from Volos is difficult and car drive need to be slow and careful. My husband and I were touring Greece. And we were looking for 2 overnights in Pelion. We found this hotel om the Googlr map. We were kindly received by Alexandros. He was so kindly and very enthusiastic. Wow, what a beautiful hotel thos is! We could choose from several rooms. We took the superior double room. This one had an amazing view of Ag. IOannis, the sea and....the sunrise... .really a wonderfulview...

It's an amazing feeling of home and comfort. It has already been 1 week since arriving at this hotel. But my heart is warm from the attitude of the people who work there. The room was cleaned every day. Everything is simple but clean. The hostess of the hotel always greets guests with a smile and hugs. The breakfasts are pleasant, delicious Greek coffee. The sea is less than 1 minute away:)

One of our best hotels, we ever spent our holidays in. Fantastic view, calm and a familiar atmosphere. The team was so helpful in every question we had and gave us the best advives for exploring the Pilion area. Not to forget the delicious breakfast. We definitely will come back next year.

Convenient location, in front of the sea. Clean rooms, the space is just right. Small balcony next to the neighboring room, with a very nice view to the sea. Breakfast was rich and fresh, however I'd prefer to include local specialties. The staff was friendly and helpful, we were impressed by their professionalism. Would definitely visit again.

If you re looking for real traditional greek hospitality, it 's your place. Everything is easy going and relaxed. Good service, very clean, comfortable (except there isno elabator), big rooms. Breakfast is not great, but it is already a bonus for the price you pay. The meal options are few but excellemt. They have the best sis kebab I have ever tried. Excellent hots, the best food I’ve ever had, very clean room and linens, washroom and everything else spotless. Located in a beautiful fishing village, a few minutes away from the most beautiful beach and water I’ve ever seen. Sadly, the shower in the room we had was so tinny, that it took an adult all the time needed for showering to keep the water inside the tiny shower curtain and off the floors...

Old, but clean hotel whit large rooms. Very nice owners. The beach is the excellent. Near is have another - Mikro. For the fishermen, have a lot of fish.

Very beautiful hotel, exactly what you need to feel like you are in a village… traditional space and rooms. It has a view of the whole of Volos and is spotlessly clean! The staff is incredibly hospitable and kind! What impressed me was that in addition to the breakfast they offer, they also bring you warm toast no matter how many people there are! It's in a quite place, full of green, also near to Volos. The room for 3 was cosy enough and clean. The breakfast was very nice, the people polite and helpful, we stayed satisfied enough!! The bathroom was cosy.. We had a beautiful view from our terrace

Lesvos is amazing, but Defkalion would be worth the trip anywhere in the world. The hotel is operated by a wonderful family, and by the time you leave you'll feel like you've been adopted. Breakfast is made onsite and exceptional, the gym is well furnished and spacious, the pool is lovely, and every room comes with a bottle of ouzo and bottle of wine! I feel like an infomercial at this point, but...

The hotel is located just 5-10 minutes walk above the lovely village of Portaria. From most of the rooms you have a splendid view over the bay and city of Volos which can be accessed only by car in about 30 minutes along a windy but scenic road. The hotel is divided into several houses with no central hallway. Therefore you have to walk along the parking site in front of the hotel in order to access...

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff and convenient rooms. Nice outdoor pool and space for kids to play. There is a balcony with a beautiful view in the dining hall, we enjoyed our breakfasts there. Located not far from the village center.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in what appeared to the off season as it was very quiet. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were kind and helpful durning all interactions. There was plenty of options at breakfast and service was great. The on site parking was a welcome change from other hotels in the area. Overall it was a great hotel and I would recommend staying there.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Property was gorgeous and clean. Had multiple options for breakfast. Had a beautiful dining area and an in-house bar. Air conditioner worked very well, and the rooms were quite spacious. Area was very nice as there was much to see and do within walking distance. Would recommend and go again!

Despite the friendly service we have received from the reception team, we were disapointed from the room. The plaster on some of the walls was peeling. The space between the bed & the wall on one side was very small and the curtain reached to the floor, so it was very difficult to pass through, especially at night if you need to go to the bathroom. The breakfast met our expectations & the hotel did...

I cannot say enough good about the staff. We had planned on staying 2 nights but a massive rainstorm flooded the area and we could not get leave the hotel. The staff made sure we got feed and kept us informed about the situation with the rain even though they were not taking care of their homes that were being damaged by the storm. Amazing staff that cares about guests and ensures their comfort...

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We had the so called “honeymoon suite”, a spacious room with a large terrace and also a jacuzzi, and, following the Covid rules, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel spa just for ourselves. Breakfast is available until 11 a.m., and you can have it in a patio outside, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was very kind and professional...

We spent 2 nights at the Pelion Resort and it was very good. The rooms are big, with a good bathroom and good bed. They have a very good pool (I enjoyed all day!) and their service is very friendly and kind. Everything we needed, they were ready to provide. Also very good breakfast. We would return for sure!

The hotel is good and our stay was pleasant. For the price of it though, I would definitely expect a better breakfast. The road to get to the hotel is a tiny/tight street with big stones that is unsafe. We parked the car and didn't want to move it again because it was scary. They really need to put a traffic light or offer help from the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our accommodations were a separate beautiful cottage on the property with two floors and balcony. Parking was behind a gate, but you had to exit your car to enter the code to open the gate.

Hotel Filoxenia is a small hotel hidden in between some others in Portaria. The owners take pride in their quiet and welcoming establishment and provide you everything you need. The location is wonderful, and sitting in between the large trees on a sunny day makes you realize that you might have stumbled upon one of the most beautiful places in all of Greece.

Fantastic stay. Our room was comfortable and quiet but no lift. The restaurant served delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast. The area is quaint and full of character.

The hotel was ok although the bathroom in our room is in need of serious renovation. In our room there was no kettle and cups like the room next door. When we asked about it they said its because the other room was at a different category! The pool should have been heated due to low temperatures. The breakfast was good.

Excellent service from the staff, wonderful views of the mountains and town below, great morning breakfast. The only thing that lowered the rating was the beds were extremely hard and the air conditioner didn’t keep the rooms cool. Although, these are common findings in Greece. Would stay there again.

The Erofili hotel provided us an exceptional hospitality as well as a super handmade breakfast, same is located in the center of Portaria village with all the hotspots in walking distance. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable enough and cozy.

The professional and diligent staff took great care of us when Storm Daniel hit the Pilio area recently, making sure we had food and shelter amid a police curfew and power cuts. A great example of Greek hospitality, even during trying and difficult times.
