Old but great, kind and good service, good sized rooms and fair price
I was here staying for 2 months in the month of August and September, this place is right in the downtown of Monfalcone. It's 10 mins walking distance from the Train Station and all the bars and Restaurants are on 5 mins walking distance. The rooms are nice and spacious . Especially the rooms on Level 3 have this big balconies.

Clean, large room, modern bathroom and central location. No complaints.
The hotel is very dated - carpet, bed spreads, furniture. It is rated 3-star, but has few amenities. The room has no fridge or water kettle/coffee maker, a "vacuum hose" style hair dryer, individual packets of shampoo, no international TV channels, and in April, no A/C.
It's a comfortable little place for a modest price. It's close to the main square and the beds are quite bouncy (bounced off on to the floor the first time I went to sit down). Breakfast was provided and wasn't bad and there was a laundry service available too. It has an old rustic charm. Wifi was available in the lobby area, but they seemed to be installing room wifi before I left last year.

Because the flight arrived at Trieste Airport late at night, we booked this hotel nearby, so we didn't have high expectations for the hotel at the beginning. The hotel service is very good. My wife and I stayed only one night but it was a very nice place , area is very quiet and clean , lots of things within walking distance , trieste airport is very close under 10 min drive
24hr reception This was just quick overnight before a cruise. We were delayed and got in at 2am. It was nice that reception was still open and check in was very fast. Breakfast was mediocre. They did arrange can service to get us to Port and that was very helpful

Bring spare stomach. Place serves fish / frutti di mare and they are doing fantastic job, but I was full already after appetisers. Risotto was OK, spaghetti fantastic.
The food is good, the price is not so good and the service was slow.
Rather small restaurant with excellent choice of local seafood. Also the wine is worth a try. The suggested bottle from the waiter was finally ordered twice ;-)) One of the highlights definately was the door to the restroom :-)) it is completely covered with different kinds of bottle openers.
Friendly personnel adequate food
Just one word: FABULOUS. If you are looking for an authentic Italian trattoria you mush to stop here. Great selection of local and fresh fish, definitely to try antipasto caldo della casa and pasta alla canocchia. 5 STARS!
regardless of the price to my palate this place is highly recommended, specially for those into seafood my dear friends from Monfalcone Carlos & Daniella brought me here for an unforgettable "serata" at the end "la casa" did offer grappa to select from a wide variety

Angelo, the owner, is a delightful man: welcoming, discreet and knowledgeable, he knows the area well and is always helpful. The room is large and spotless, as is the bathroom, equipped with everything you need (including a window ... which is not common). The breakfast is rich and of high quality.
