Perfect location for an excellent beach - with great amenities. Excellent half board package delivered a great dining experience. Within a reasonable walking distance to the town centre and the restaurants/bars/shopping/sights there. The whole hotel team went to great lengths to look after us and no ask was too much. Highly recommended.

Le dune is a very high quality Boutique hotel in Porto cesareo Puglia Italy. There are about 40 rooms with a really nice modern roof top pool and bar. The rooms are very modern and stylish compared to most Italian hotels this is one of the best. Hard to find hotel. Most entrances closed. Desk staff were good but restaurant staff were rude and indifferent. Had to wait 50 min for my mediocre, expensive steak dinner because of a booked party. Yet, I came before the party ordered. Buffet breakfast was good but no mention of ordering eggs besides the buffet. Room was basic with few outlets and plastic lamps. Watch the step in the bathroom? Nice, clean hotel with spacious rooms. Good food. However, the hotel is overrated and the value for money is excessive. Unfortunately we often found the private beach dirty and not cleaned by the lifeguards: when I asked them to clean it they came with a net and gave a "sweep" which certainly does not represent the service that a 4 star hotel should offer. A car is essential to travel for local food and ammenities five minutes away. Excellent breakfast with home baking. Polite and friendly and nothing was to much trouble, an all round highly enjoyable experience.
