Beautiful place to spend a few days in Buggerru. Would totally recommend spending a bit more and getting a room with sea view

Rooms and hotel are nice, but quite noisy: traffic, kids screaming, dogs barking, works in the docks, people in the street, the whole day until late night. Windows are poorly insulated from noise. The fan in the bathroom is very noisy too so if you go at night you wake up the other person in the room. Good breakfast. Nice seaview.

The hotel's location is excellent, with good restaurants and hiking trails nearby. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options. The owner is a very nice lady, that puts a lot of effort in making your stay as comfortable as possible. The cakes for breakfast are made by herself. She speaks several languages (it, eng, fr, esp) and worked in the local tourist office. All her recommondations were great.

This b & b is in a very convenient position to visit the beaches of the Costa Verde, the Nebida viewpoint and the medieval town of Iglesias. The host, Andrea, is very helpful and welcoming (on our arrival he offered us drinks, sweets and fresh fruit and gave us very good advice on beaches and restaurants for dinner. The hotel with attached bar is conveniently located in the center of Portoscuso. Parking is easily found near the property. The owner is a kind person, but the staff sometimes lacks courtesy and kindness in their responses. There is always room for improvement!

Maria Laura is just an amazing host - always attentive and perfectionalist. At the breakfast, she will make sure that you start your day with a broad smile on your face. Enjoying the sea view (the San Pietro island and just the open Mediterranean Sea all around) every morning and evening was priceless. Rooms very basic - only 1 plug in room for tv behind furniture so not easy for charging. Reception staff were just ok - wouldn't let us use outdoor pool at 8.10pm after arrival in motorbike gear in 33° - which would have been a godsend (closed 10 mins prior). Was main reason we booked this place. The restaurant was good - excellent pizza and good prices.

This hotel was a wonderful stopping point on our way to the western beaches. Parking was available in the back of the hotel. The staff were warm and inviting. We stayed in the b and b for one night. The room is very nice and clean, Gianni available, kind and nice. The breakfast was not as fresh as we expected, snacks. For the rest we are satisfied, the structure is also equipped for the disabled.

The structure is very beautiful, we arrived late in the evening and found the room not very clean, there were hairs on the floor both in the room and in the bathroom, on the second day however everything was in perfect order, clean, the breakfast was very plentiful and good. Nice rooms, beautiful garden with lots of plants, but above all the best service I've ever had. The staff was very kind, my girlfriend was sick and they helped us in every way. They are also nice and know the island well, knowing how to give directions to tourist places or beaches. If I ever go back to Carloforte I would know where to go to sleep.

We have been to this hotel a few times now and will keep on coming back. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is ideal. I particularly liked that they provide a bottle of water in the room and that you can refill it from the water dispenser as many times as you like.

Excellent facilities, staff and service. Only thing I could say should be improved is the quality of the sweet pastries at breakfast as it was the only element not being at 4* level. Amazing stay overall! Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful night at the hotel. The location is perfect, very close to the ferry port and our room had a great view of the ocean. Lovely family run hotel in the centre. Our room was very quiet and very clean, as was the whole hotel. Buffet beakfast had a good selection and included homemade cakes too. Staff were friendly and very helpful, booking us restaurants for the two nights we stayed there. The town was lovely and we enjoyed exploring. In summary, a lovely place to stay and very relaxing.

Very nice hotel situated in the centre of the city, close to the beach and many restaurants. Rooms are relatively small, but well equiped. Breakfast was perfect - a lot of sweet and salty bakery, cheese, ham, salami, yoghurts, many types of juices, fresh fruit, eggs. You can also order coffee or tea. I only missed some vegetable.

My second stay at Le Sabbie. Quiet residential location, 10 minutes’ walk to Calasetta’s marina and centre. Spacious rooms with small garden, well-maintained hotel, and friendly staff. Continental breakfast with plenty of cakes (no eggs or bacon). Will definitely return.

It's a very nice hotel close to the beach. We enjoyed a lot the breakfast. The breakfast had a variety of the salty and sweet foods. There were various egg plates, pastries.
