Really helpful staff, whent the extra mile to be friendly and courteous. Clean interesting hotel with interesting art wprks.

Decent location but the hotel is a bit dated. Cleanliness of the room was a bit questionable and breakfast choices not impressive.

The hotel is a bit out fashioned, our toilet leaked, but the rooms are large with a high ceiling and daily cleaning service. There is a spacious area for parking. The walls are paper thin, you can hear the exact words of conversations, but I guess for a short stay it is not a bother.

One night and finally satisfied

A hotel for one night before catching the boat, but no more. The lady who greeted us was lovely and did her best to make us happy. However, I booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool, and what a disappointment! The water was cloudy and heavily chlorinated, so swimming wasn't really recommended.

It’s a bit out of town and host didn’t speak English but bent over backwards to get me pizza delivered and beer. She was amazing. Also woke up at 4:30am to open gate for taxi

situated in the country, but nearby porto torres. There was a warm welcome, due to we had to leave early we got a nice care package for breakfast. Thanks a lot.

clean spacious comfortable and quiet rooms. personalized attention. Porto Torres 5 minutes away by car, so you avoid the noisy city...during hours of rest.

Very nice and courteous hostess. Very good breakfast with requests for requests (scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, natural toast,... with ham and cheese, different types of coffee, juices, croissants, white bread, fruit, yoghurts, etc. Small fridge filled with drinks. No dinner possible!! Pool seemed unkempt and dirty-a shame! Location - too far out and far to beach or town - impossible to walk!

A very pleasant little tourist complex, the apartments are independent, arranged around a welcoming patio, and all on the ground floor. Parking is easy. The apartments are very well laid out and well-equipped, with a welcome tray at reception containing basic groceries, cleaning products, and shower gel. The receptionist is very friendly. I'm finally able to write a review. We stayed at this magnificent property from July 26 to August 9, 2025, with two children aged 6 and 12. It was an extraordinary experience. Il Melo is strategically located near some of Sardinia's most beautiful beaches: 20 minutes from La Pelosa, 20 minutes from Ezzi Mannu, 5 minutes from Balai Beach, and 20 minutes from Alghero. Practically everything is nearby...

A cozy and comfortable place to stay on the outskirts of town. The kitchen is well-equipped.

Everything is very good, the owner is very attentive, she tells you what to see, it is very nice, very quiet and clean. Perfect stay. Highly recommended

A lovely experience marred by poor bedding. The apartment was very clean upon our arrival. Dishes, towels, and linens were provided. The only problem I found with this accommodation was the bedding. A suggestion to improve Il Mélo's service is to change the mattress on the master bed; it was horribly uncomfortable, as a sag had formed in the middle of the bed over the years, I think...
