This is one amazing hotel to stay at. the facilities are absolutely outstanding staff very friendly and have very good English so if you don't speak Italian don't worry speak very good English. The room I stayed in was top notch in great condition and was looked after very well after day. Overall this hotel is one of the best would recommend for anyone
Nice hotel in a pretty location, nice pools, food average. Reception staff friendly, comfortable room. Music loud and late a bit unnecessary perhaps. A few areas require attention to detail. ( dirty towels outside toilet area all week) Massage amazing once located. Could do with some English speaking staff!
We had a wonderful experience at Domina Zagarella Sicily! We were there with a large family group for a wedding and the staff was very welcoming, helpful and pleasant. The boat trip off the coast of Porticello was an unforgettable experience! The crystal-clear waters and calm sea made the excursion extremely enjoyable and relaxing. At all my experience of travel it is a little paradise, one of the best on our planet. From the atmosphere of beautiful bays of the province of Palermo, to room service's attitude - everything is ideal. Here you can also taste real Sicilian kitchen, because they have a great chef, who was awarded with a Michelin star. High level of service, as well as adornments, leaves only good impression. The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Hotel Solunto Mare is an incredible beauty of this place. The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful bays of the province of Palermo. The hotel corresponds to a posh place where it is located, a beautiful private beach, pool, and spacious rooms. Loved this place! It’s located in the center of Bagheria so everything’s really close by. Great service and polite staff! Only problem was that our room was located on the second building so we had to walk through the square to grab breakfast(it was a brisk walk though)

Signor Franco is a very nice person that for sure made our stay there nicer. He is really helpful and takes care of his guests. I really recommend this hotel for a stay in Bagheria
Nothing extra.
We paid for a room we got a room. There was a small TV if we needed it.
It was attached to a restaurant that seemed well liked but we didn't go in.
Advance to say that I have known their cuisine for years. I would say very good. I took my friends to sleep in their hotel. They were happy. Positivo.Renewed the main hall. Very kind and friendly owner. We will be back soon.
I start by saying that 3 stars is not a bad rating but for my part to have 4 stars you should not find certain gaps and to have 5 everything should be perfect.
another important thing my stay was POSITIVE and I would safely RETURN to the structure. consistent prices. reading maybe you will understand the missing stars.

Very nice home. I stayed here for one night. Good value for money. Sicily is beautiful.
Large rooms, but definitely in need of renovation.
Needs to be refurbished but for a short stop it can be fine.
Then the only flaw was the cleanliness! The staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast a little poor, but in my opinion for a two-star hotel it can be.
Villa Soles is a simple, clean accomodation, bed, desk and chair, bedside table, closet with room controlled air conditioning. Breakfast provided is a delicious fresh soft croissant, juice and cappuccino or cafe'. The hotel is very good. The rooms are good and clean (everyday cleaning), breakfasts also very nice. The beach is beautiful, privet with free sunbeds, towels, mattress and sups.
But please note that Friday-Monday this place is very noisy cause of banquets at the restaurant. I would recommend owners to make the noise regulations after 23:00 cause it’s impossible to sleep 😅

Beautiful views! After a slight mishap with our room, Noemi and Elisa, were able to get us in a room that we (me, my husband and 2 teenage boys) were all happy with. The hotel has a great location, clean rooms, and good service. The breakfast is average, and the internet connection is very poor. We stayed here for four nights and found the hotel very good. Our room had a sea view and a balcony which we really enjoyed. The hotel is clean with access to a small hotel beach (not the private beach club seen on the photos). The restaurant next door is really good too. The room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly.
At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish).
The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).
Decent Stay with Friendly Service
Our stay at Hotel Villa Rossi was average, as expected from a 3-star property. The rooms were basic but acceptable. What stood out was the friendly and helpful staff at reception — great service from genuinely nice people. Overall, a decent experience for the price

Probably one of the best location in Sicily, the most beautiful private beach in an alcove scenario, a really beautiful pool and the village is scenic.

Brand new and clean houses equipped with all comforts, wonderful air conditioners, swimming pool and outdoor environments always clean. Relaxation assured, wonderful place.
PS. A little attention to the towels and the sheets and pillowcases you provide, it happens that stains remain 😉
Nino and Nicoletta exceptional hosts. Enchanting salt water swimming pool (20 mt.). An explosion of uncontaminated nature, organic garden available to guests, production and sale of quality olive oil. Relaxing and restorative holiday.

An old hotel on the outskirts of the city that offers good value for money, especially for those travelling by car. Palermo is a large and bustling city, but the hotel's free parking is easily accessible before the city centre gets busy. After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap.

A good place to eat and to sleep.
The design is absolutely 20th century, as is much of the room aesthetic, which ends up feeling quaintly nostalgic. Waking up with a view of the sea at sunrise is a definite perk.
As for the stay, everything went relatively well, except that those who wanted to enjoy the pool in this heat would have to deal with a lifeguard who was perhaps a horrible, pretentious lifeguard with no respect for the tourists who were staying at the hotel, so for anyone who wanted to swim, choose another hotel.

Our first time in Palermo. Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you.
Wonderful hotel. Clean friendly. Martina in the dining room and the gentleman behind the bar ( whose name I did not get) were both terrific in assisting us. Thank you

Paolo, a bartender at the NH Hotel is amazing. He was attentive to our needs from the moment we arrived and until we left.
The hotel has beautiful views of the sea and the breakfast is a large variety of fruit, pastries, eggs, and breakfast meats.
Paolo was fantastic - he helped us while sitting by the pool and also in the evening with cocktails. The hotel is a perfect location, clean and safe. Their food is also fresh and delicious. Constantino makes an amazing espresso martini as well, one of the best we have ever had!
Overall, the hotel is a nice environment, but there are definite drawbacks which would prevent us from staying here again (we’re actually leaving earlier than planned).

Very comfortable room and location, worthy for the price
Got a single room facing the road and railway station. Very noisy! First they gave the room facing the yard but it was smelling cigars too strongly and I asked to change it. No soap in the shower, slightly dirty and dusty. Too small.
The room wasn't very large, with just one queen-size bed. The bathroom curtain was a bit crudely hung and sometimes needed to be manually adjusted (you need to be at least 1.72 meters tall to find it easy). The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, but check-in is not until 3:00 PM. The best part is that it's conveniently located across from the central train station, just across the zebra crossing...
Not a bad hotel. Took for one night. Breakfast from 7 am, did not manage to get to it. There were no problems with hot water, Wi-Fi works
We had paid the city fee (tax) to a front desk clerk when we checked in on the first day, but when we checked out, another clerk told us that we had not paid the city fee. We described the clerk who collected the money at that time, but the clerk who checked out said there was no record, and because we had to catch a train, we had to pay the city fee again. This was a bad experience.

Two night stay
We stayed for two nights. The first night, the bed was very comfortable, but the restaurant upstairs was loud until 1 a.m. On the second night, we changed rooms—the bed was very hard, but at least it was quiet. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was just okay at best, but the rooftop views while eating were beautiful.
Great hotel
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a fantastic view of the city from the rooftop terrace.
This is my second stay at this hotel. I prefer a room away from Via Roma, because the streetnoise is loud. Mattresses are a bit hard.
I will stay here again next time i'm in Palermo.
Centrally located with excellent view/ balcony. However, extremely noisy all night long with uncomfortable bed left me sleep deprived. The mini fridge wasn’t working and I reported it on first day but it never was repaired or replaced. Shower is approx 3ft x 3ft, very tiny, luckily I’m a small lady, larger people would have a difficult time. I will not stay here again.
There is no elevator on the first floor. Only one small elevator for the whole building. Guests have to carry luggage up one flight of stairs to access elevator. No bellman to help you either.
Comfortable and clean room, good location in the city center and near train station, good breakfast with the best view in the city.

Lovely boutique hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. Located next to Ballaro market. Close to magnificent churches. Easy and fast check in. Only issue was no help with luggage upon check in - and there is a step to get to elevator. Breakfast (included) was mediocre. It can get noisy when there are events booked at hotel.
Nice hotel, but hard to find and up stairs.
The hotel was hard to find, down an unmarked side street, to piazza. Came from the train station. Asking two locals on the way, even they weren’t aware, but did eventually find it for me. The room was spacious, with comfortable bedding. Although up an elevator, also up a flight of stairs with suitcase. I had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant.

The hotel is very well located and the employees are super kind with you all the time.
It is also super close to Fontana Pretoria, a beautiful fountain where you have free wifi.

Single bed/room sold as double bed/room
The location is excellent, right next to the Four Corners Square. The room is well-equipped and very clean. The breakfast is rich, with many choices and well-made. The front desk service is in place.
I spent a long time looking for a nearby parking lot. This place is not suitable for self-driving, but the location is very good, it is equivalent to living in Wangfujing Pedestrian Street
I can only give it an average rating! It has a history of 220 years but it is too old.
The hotel is very nice and conveniently located within walking distance to Huochez
The staff were awesome. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is in the heart of downtown so it’s very walkable. If you want to park there, you better have a SMALL car. We had to fold the mirrors in on our Skoda Fabia to fit in the alley that leads to their garage. The entrance and lobby are wonderful and the breakfast was inexpensive and good.
The rooms on the other hand leave a lot to be...

A very clean, cosy and simple hotel right in the old town of Palermo - friendly personnel, basic breakfast. I enjoyed my stay in May 2019 and recommend the hotel to everyone who does not need a sophisticated standard.
Friendly staff, great breakfast, very clean, the bed could be more comfortable, the pillows too. But it still is a good place to stay at in a very central part of Palermo
I stayed here for almost one month in July 2017. The family that owns this Hotel made it feel like home to me.
My room was kept clean and was allowed to park my bici in their parking garage. Great place to stay and I felt very comfortable the entire stay :)
I always found parking on near by streets for my rental car as well. Just wait until after 5pm or so....
Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa for everything...
It was February 2018 so the rainy season. The family who runs the Hotel is very good with Service, very clean, quaint, most reasonable price for the area. Very Sicilian, frugal in that no frills kind of authentic experience which I recommend for spoiled Americans who dont understand how real Europeans who are authentic live. It is off the main roads and in an older part of town but you have a market next...
Budget place. Fairly nice staff. Clean bed, tiny bathroom and shower. Next to the Bolaro market so noisy and lively. Breakfast is disappointing but a nice cafe for capuccino and croissant is 20 steps away. A few hundred meters away from the main shopping street as well.
Small hotel located on the border of Ballarò, clean, great staff, good price for the facilities offered

Warm helpful staff, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast. Beautiful location, has an elevator which is helpful. In walking distance to the Capo Mercato, Archeological Museum. Easy to meet tour guides nearby.
The hotel is very conveniently located — it’s just a short walk to the main tourist attractions, which made exploring the city really easy. The overall appearance of the hotel is well-maintained and clean.
Our room was okay, but nothing special. That might be because we had one of the older, unrenovated rooms. As we passed by other rooms, we noticed that many of them had already been modernized and...
Great location to explore palermo on foot and exceptional staff. The breakfast was very good. Recommend taking the time to have some drinks on the rooftop terrace at night or taking a coffee up in the morning. The beds were very comfy. The room was spacious, clean and tidy.
It was very pleasant our stay, Dario and all staff very professional. The breakfast good, and location convenient.
The pictures here kind of give the wrong impression of the rooms.
Breakfast is ok, but the pastry is not fresh.
Location is good, walking distance from most landmarks.
Hotel Posta is perfectly located in the center of the old city and it is close to all the important sites/ places. It is a family hotel that has been run since 1927. The service is excellent and the employees are really helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel is located on a small and calm street parallell to Via Roma. Fifty meters from the hotel,...

I liked the hotel for its price-quality ratio. The location is good in the center on a quiet street, clean, pleasant and attentive staff, 24-hour reception, which is important to me. There was no refrigerator or kettle in the room, but we got by. I can recommend it for a stop in Palermo.
The location is very good, located on the busiest road, with restaurants and bars downstairs, and close to popular attractions. The single room is the same as in the photo, with a large toilet but a small bed. But it is still acceptable for this price
Basic hotel, adequate for one night. Room and bathroom are decent, but it's a shame the cleanliness is lacking.
The room was a bit old, but clean and comfortable. The front desk service attitude is good,
Great service. Great front desk and A convenient location.
It was the 2nd time we returned to the Hotel Columbia and this time too everything was perfect, starting from the kindness of the staff, to the excellent cleanliness, good breakfast in terms of quality and choice and an ideal location
Vicinissima alla via Maqueda, Quattro Canti, posizione strategica. Ragazzo alla reception gentilissimo, mi ha portato la valigia fino al terzo piano.

Comfortable stay
It’s in the center but really comfortable and calm place with great service.
Not for noise-sensitive people.
It was quite noisy, as the windows were very thin and there was no real natural light in my room. Cleanliness was mediocre. Towels are only changed after departure, I suspect.
We enjoyed our stay at this small hotel with a private courtyard. The room was clean and had a very spacious bathroom with a window (which is important to me). It's five minutes from Palazzo Reale Station, making it convenient for visiting the main attractions. The quietness at night is also remarkable, allowing for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is simple, but offers both sweet and savory options...
Together with other colleagues we stayed in this hotel near the University of Palermo. It is a family-run hotel and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, making our stay pleasant. Clean rooms with good daily cleaning service. Breakfast offered very good and eaten under a very nice (isolated) gazebo. I highly recommend!
We had a very good time, very helpful people managers. I would have given an extra star 6dr the mattress had been slightly softer. In any case it is a place that I recommend
Friendly staff.
Basic breakfast (but the cannoli weren't there)
Large, spartan rooms with dated decor.
Certainly useful for using it as a foothold.
Tip: soundproof the rooms and eliminate some furniture elements that are no longer appreciated and only useful for collecting dust (bedspreads and decorative pillows are an example).
I give 4 stars because the price is still in line with what I had.

Nice place to stay in walking distance of most places to see and many restaurants.
Great place. Great hospitality.
Good hotel. Big rooms. Central. Helpful staff
We enjoyed our two nights. The room was very spacious. David at the front desk was so friendly and very helpful along with all the staff. Breakfast was letdown though. With a small selection.
Decent rooms, awesome location! I slept on a third extra bed, which was way too short for me, but it was decently comfy. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, but altogether it was good.
The hotel is okay. The room are big. The breakfast is reasonable. No warm breakfast.

The hotel is good overall. The rooms are clean and functional, although a bit worn-out and in need of renovation. The location was good, and with parking spots on the street.
The breakfast was good, with various options. Staff was kind and helpful.
Overall, we were happy with our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the decor lacked charm. We especially enjoyed the breakfast—everything was of high quality.
Our story: We were on a cruise when we had an emergency requiring my wife to be hospitalized. Our port agent set us up in this hotel. The reception was welcoming and sympathetic. We had to switch rooms to accommodate incoming guests and they made the transfer easy and moved out luggage. A big surprise was the restaurant. Our dinners were very good and the chef surprised us with a special treat...
I chose the hotel with the best reviews in the price category that I was willing to spend. The hotel is very well located, simple, the furniture is worn and outdated, there are no minimal toiletries in the bathroom typical for a 4-star hotel. The bed is uncomfortable and only one card given to unlock the door. The shower is so small that I barely had room in it, the breakfast unspectacular. The staff...
Greatly located just in the heart of old Palermo, and very quiet in the same time, serving very tasty breakfasts for all needs, spacious room (we opted for privilege one), and great views: see and mountain just in opposite directions.
Nice place and close to historical center. Only difficult is parking place…

Great place in walking Distance to Palermo centre, very clean and nice people
Cheap room, but needs updating, breakfast not very varied
The hotel has its own atmosphere - beautiful decor. Very good location - you can walk everywhere, to the main attractions of the city, to the center, to restaurants. Beware of the micro lift - something different. The breakfast is very good - a large selection of sweet snacks (typically Italian), but there is also bread, cold cuts and cheese. For me, this hotel is a hit. I recommend it
It's very close to the bus stop from the airport, so it's convenient …
You can enjoy bars, restaurants, shopping districts and sightseeing spots within a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Hotel staff is kind and friendly.…
This is a lovely boutique hotel.
There is a park in front of the hotel, so the view from the window is also good.
The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is placed near the center and near restaurants with pedestrian areas. We had a good time and good value for money
