Skif Hotel & SPA in Petropavlovsk

An excellent hotel for a small town. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is very courteous. There's a large gym and spa facilities. Guests can also book a massage or make use of the solarium. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. We had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Skif. Highly recommend.

My husband and I arrived for the New Year holidays. This isn't our first time staying at this hotel. While they always provide excellent service, their hospitality this time truly went above and beyond! We were upgraded to two separate rooms instead of one for the two of us, and each room had lovely welcome gifts: champagne, mandarins, and chocolates! All the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, readily assisting with any requests, questions, or needs. Our room was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the spa. Our stay was a complete success!

We stayed one night at the Skif ("Scythian") Hotel in Petropavlovsk in July 2024. The hotel is a fairly simple one, not flashy, but it is very nice, well-run, very clean, in excellent condition, in a great location, and with a very good breakfast buffet. We had two rooms, one for ourselves and one for our adult daughter, travelling with us. Our room, upstairs, was large and nice, if somewhat spartan. Our daughter's small one-person room on the bottom floor lacked an actual window tot he outside but otherwise was nice. Bathrooms were nice. Shower was pretty good but lacked a hand-held shower head, which is a slight negative point. Again everything was very clean and in excellent condition with fresh paint and gleaming metal fixtures. The room was comfortable. Breakfast buffet came with the room. It was in a simple but pleasant eating area and the buffet was substantial and varied, and all was of good quality. The hotel has a fenced parking area and it is located in the heart of the city, a short walk from the main pedestrianised activity area along Constitution of Kazakhstan St and the Central Square. At the same time, since we were driving our own rental car, we also enjoyed the fact that it was easy to get to and from the hotel by driving into and out of the city.

Excellent value for money. The rate includes the room, breakfast, and access to the spa with a pool and sauna. For Petropavlovsk, I consider this an excellent option for a stay. Rooms are clean, and all amenities like bottled water and toiletries are provided. My only minor issue was that the price on the website initially differed from the price at the front desk, but they honored the online rate in the end. Thanks!

Excellent hotel. Spa access included. Breakfast is good. The rooms are clean, cleaning every day. Minibar in the room at reasonable prices. They gave me a discount card. I recommend!!!
