Location is great but rooms are not the best. Specially the bathroom in my room was so smelly I needed to clean it myself with a lot of water and soap.

The price does not match what it offers. The room is standard 2 star level hotel. It was clean and the location is good. The walls are thin and there was apparently a youth sports team near my room that were very loud until 2a.m. Expected a lot more for 36€ a night, better staff service for example. The room also has the outlets quite hard to access and not a lot of them.

The hotel feels very standard. The architecture of the building is plain, the rooms are plain. Nothing doesn't catch the eye but nothing isn't outright bad either. Very average, can't say anything about the experience.

It's plain. This is a hotel made for athletes to sleep in, in between practises. Beds could be better. Breakfast is pretty good, better than what you usually would find in continental Europe. The Olympic center itself are great.

We booked two rooms for three nights, total price just above 200 euro. A bargain. The hotel is simple and old fashioned, almost soviet style, but quiet, comfortable enough and very well situated. Free parking just outside. My room even had a fridge as well as a kettle. Never tried the breakfast, and the pizza restaurant was closed. Four stars and no complains from me, based on price.

Great location- everything is a nearby, friendly staff, quiet room and a quite comfy bed. It really needs refreshing- it feels like the time has stood still since 1990 in there... It' s cheap though. WC ventilation was surprisingly loud. Breakfast choice was quite small, but tasted OK. Coffee was good.

The room was beautiful, and had travel cot as requested. As a cleaning business owner I inspected the room (I know I'm naughty 😁) It was very clean, only 2 minor things -the drawer had crumbs in and toilet brush holder contained some water. Would of been nice to have some coffee in room. But the breakfast is different story. There was no baked beans left when we arrived, and when asked none provided...

Rooms are basic and outdated but acceptable to stay for few nights. Buffet breakfast is ok. No restaurant in evening but there are many restaurants around to go to. Location is very good.

I really love the hotel, everything is awesome, but the breakfast is not as it used to be. I've found some small bones or something in the pancakes and a hair in the oatmeal they serve.

Good service. Some few complaints over minor things, such as a low quality toilet and shower. The included breakfast is decent, and has a variety of common and Latvian dishes. Cleaning is decent and the beds are properly made. The price is right, I'd recommend going here and may come back myself.

Enjoyed my one night stay at this homelike hotel. It is family run, cozy place. Not for those who is looking for fancy and modern design - it is simple, yet very cozy and you feel like you visit your relatives and they keep a guest room for you always ready. They also do serve a breakfast. Decent and delicious. There is also an inner yard territory. Situated in the very centre of city. Highly recommend...

SECURE BIKE STORAGE. I am yet to book this Hotel, but I received a quick email back within 5 minutes that they have a secure bike storage for cycling. This is already a great piece of information.

Very pleasant stay. Easy to park and near the centre. Room was clean and tidy. Room was spacious. Nice breakfast. Kettle in Room with some teabags. Would return to this establishment. Negatives. Pillows on the soft side Walls are a bit thin, so some noise from other rooms The kettle was not near an electrical point, so had to move furniture to connect. But all this was very minor and did not detract...

Had to book last minute and got a room for 4, for a really good price. The rooms were really cozy, and everything was neat and clean. The owner was lovely and lent us a charger for the night too. Breakfast was beautifully presented and everyone enjoyed it. Mattresses were so comfortable, didn't want to leave the bed. We'll definitely stay again if we visit the city. We stayed in two bedroom+living room apartment. It's good for the price. Wifi is a bit slow, the lights are of an ugly-hospital-white color, and there's a bit of lingering cigarette smell in the bedroom but these are minor inconveniences. Outside facilities for kids are awesome! Our girls spent a lot of time outside by the swings and a trampoline. Oh, major plus for induction cook top 👍

A very cozy place! The pond in the courtyard is beautiful. We booked a room with a terrace/kitchenette. Everything was spotless! The towels were snow-white. The shared bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Laundry facilities were available. The hostess was welcoming. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances—a stove, kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator.

Thanks to the owners, everything was fine. Great service. We took a room with a terrace. They were very satisfied.

4 places apartment nice and very clean with kitchen and bathroom. Not big private teritory with BBQ. Owners was very kind. Rooms are cleaned every day.

Everything was there. A house with many rooms. Windows without handles like in a prison. Shared toilets and showers. The kitchen utensils were old, unaesthetic, and there were no basic plates for breakfast. The bedding was dark, the beds were old, the curtains were from the Soviet era. Very kind host, everything you need for living!

The price matches the quality. There is a shower, dishes are available in the kitchen, some tools are a stove pot and a pan. You have to buy the oil yourself :-) the rooms were small and tidy, there was even a TV and wifi

Pounds, tidy, only traffic noise from the road across the country. Not far from the city center, close to parks with children's playgrounds. About 3-4 km to the sea

This is a room in a private house with a large garden, located a fair walk from the centre of Ventspils. Breakfast is not included. It is clean and the family are friendly. The wi-fi did work, though speeds were slow. Also not all of the lights were functioning. The cost was very reasonable so all-in-all good value for money.

Very nice accommodation, even when it is cold they have good heaters. Breakfast was also good, continental, a bit small in choises but still good. Walking to city centre takes about 30 minutes. But beach is right next to the camping area.

Placed not so far from the beach, also close to the city center. Tent places beetwen trees, nice and clean.

Camping near the sea was an incredible experience. Waking up to the sound of waves and stunning views made it unforgettable. The campgrounds were clean and well-maintained. Perfect for those seeking tranquillity and a deep connection with nature.

Love this place ! We stay there with my family , but Toilets( is so dirty) , light is so bad :( But I love fact there have showers and kitchen

Beautiful view, close to the ocean. Not too crowded, good cafe, showers and kitchen. The camping is overall quiet, the people are very friendly. Planning on visiting again.
