Overall a nice hip place to spend some time. Just bear in mind that it is a family hotel and full of kids. That and the fact that sound isolation is terrible will not make me come back though.

Seaside hotel, separate entrance for every room, huge yard, beach in 5 minutes’ walk. Clean rooms, great lunch and breakfast. Ideal for travelers with children – children can play in the yard, while parents can enjoy drinks in café nearby.

We have been in the restaursant, not in the hotel, and it was amazing. The food was very tasty, the staff was friendly and helpful. The entire place has a good athmosphere.

If you are looking for the great and quite vacation at the sea than this is the right place. The beach here is one of the most beautiful in Latvia with high sand dunes and forest. If you don't like eating at cafes than its possible to make your own BBQ or cook at the summer kitchen. Sauna available. The best place to spend some time with family or friends near the sea! P.S. Woow 👌 great place. Tickets only 10 min before excursions. So you need to be there HH:50. For example: if you want to have excursion at 14 o’clock, you have to come and by tickets 13:50.

This was a fun themed tour of a complex that has served seven regimes, including the nazis and soviets, as a military prison. Fairly grim conditions as you would expect. Guide was knowledgeable and spoke decent English. The site has some interesting WW1/2 war relics. Wasn’t expensive and definitely broadened my horizons, so a recommend from me 👍🏻

It's a piece of history you can visit here. This was a military prison used by the Russian when they were established in Liepaja. They used to send every soldier who failed to comply with the military code. So the visit of the prison is very recommended, the guide speaks in English and is very nice.

Pretty interesting history of this place. The excursions with a guide are made every hour. There are two different guides. One speaks russian, the other one english. To go on excursion it costs 5 EUR per person. There is a cafeteria to buy some food and soft drinks. Outside there is a big yard to hang out, make photos near the old military car. Memorable experience. Definitely a must do activity while in the area. The neighbourhood looks haunted. Special credit to the tour guide. He added humour to the otherwise sad tale of the prison.

Interesting tour around the prison! There's even a chance to stay overnight in a cell.
