Overall, Het Wapen van Enkhuizen was a nice place to stay and would stay again. Thje hosts were very friendly and the room was comfortable for my 1-night stay. The location was good too, I was able to find some time to walk around and explore Enkhuizen with no issues. The two shower curtains in the bathroom slid to wall off the water. But, because the shower was so small, the curtains would stick...
Very nice staff and great breakfast. For those Americans driving to the hotel, be prepared for very narrow roads. Very close to the Zuiderzee Museum. Highly recommended. Only con was the lack of a shower fan.

The Building looks antique but quite nice. Room was spacious but tv has no satellite channels and the window was a little bit rusty; the bathroom has very few soap bags, almost not enough for showering. The staff was kind, breakfast was included. There is a parking spot for 5€ but with a gate that closes at 22:30 so impossible to leave in the night if emergencies occur. Position is excellent.
No frills but perfectly adequate place to stay. Air conditioning was the best I've had in The Netherlands! The tv allowed for an HDMI connection to my laptop, which was great. The room has a decent amount of outlets. The bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was adequate. Staff are friendly.
Nice rooms with good aircon, but noisy with thin walls and creaky floors. Certainly not a 4 star hotel.
Excellent service and reasonable price. Very comfortable for wheelchair users!

I went here with family. This hotel has very kind people working and it is furnished in a very modern way. They have nice beds. My room had a spectacular view! Overall, a very nice hotel. 5/5 deserved stars from me and the rest of the family.
Nice hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast is always suitable and rooms are clean. I appreciated the hand-written note welcoming me back, which adds to the small town charm of staying in Enkhuizen. This hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 3 minute walk from Albert Heijn, a dutch grocery store chain.
Very good hotel with every detail of good quality. Excellent beds, good shower, superclean rooms and fast internet. Breakfast buffet with all options and delicious fresh bread. Staff friendly. Paid parking across the street, free parking after 8pm and on Sundays. Nice walk into the center.

We did not stay at the hotel but had dinner in the restaurant. As soon as we sat at a table in the restaurant with our dog, a waitress came to the table with a bowl of water for our dog without asking. That was great! In restaurants we usually ask for it and sometimes they keep us waiting. But here, that was the first thing they came to the table with. The dinner was very nice and the service was fast...

Nice appartement very close to the village center with shopping and dining opportunities. The appartments are located in a large former storage building with a nice small garden to enjoy the sun in case if nice weather. Breakfast is optional and is served as a Dutch / local buffet.

The rates are really reasonable. The breakfast is nice and has coffee tea and fresh bread. The room was clean and had great beds. We slept really well. There are many quirky features in the rooms and the choice of furniture was a change compared to many of the places we stay. We have two improvement points that would have made it a 4 star rating. - There is nothing in the room to make a cup of coffee...

Great hotel with a good location and amazing breakfast, everthing works perfect, for sunday you can park your car in front of the hotel without anyproblem but unfortunately they have no parking place. The decoration of the room is so minimalist and cool.

Work put me here so I cannot comment on the value for money aspect of it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was tasty and the fish well cooked. The room was clean. However the decor was like stepping back in time to a Granny's house from when I was younger and whoever cleaned the shower did a good job from eye level down, but ignored the black mould up high

They have a very nice restaurant. Perfect place for a beer or lunch.

In my opinion the best view of coming in and out sail boats and harbour. Also the Personal is very nice and makes everything happen.
Fancy and moderately expensive. Food is exceptional and well worth the money. Only two downsides are that there is very slow service and the wine is the same that you will find in a supermarket at an inflated price. Beautiful location and would recommend if in the area.

I had a pleasant 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and focused on meeting guests' needs. Being able to do the check in before the usual time was highly appreciated. The room was clean and well-equipped. The location, close to the city center and the main tourist attractions represents a considerable benefit of this hotel.

We stayed for two days in this hotel located in Hoorn, a beautiful Dutch town, and I must say that we really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and very helpful, so recommended for a future experience, i'm planning to back with my daughters early!!
Quaint hotel just two blocks from the center of Hoorn. Very helpful owners. Reasonable prices. Free parking. Good traditional Dutch breakfast. If possible ask for a view overlooking the canal. Room 25 is on the highest floor (sorry no elevator and steep stairs like in a traditional Dutch house) and has a great view. No traffic noise.
We stayed here 1 night for a party in the center, which is just a 5 minute walk away. The host was very welcoming and provided excellent service. Even my bicycle was taken care of by putting it in a safe place. Breakfast was good and plenty. Another plus is the free parking spots just 50 meters from the hotel. Beds are comfortable, shower good enough. Room 14 is a bit small though, but for a one night...

A modern hotel inside a converted church. The rooms are comfortable and almost seem to float in the air. The bar/restaurant is lively, the staff friendly, the drinks well-made. Breakfast was especially good with a wide variety of offerings and the ability to order freshly made eggs, pancakes, and waffles.

Great breakfast, ok room Ok stay in budget place. Breakfast is the best bit of the stay. Air conditioning is being limited to 9 pm to 9 am which made it impossible to be in the room during a hot summer day. Room doesn’t get serviced if you stay more than 1 night and needed to buy our own shower gel.
Hotel is very close to the train station and on a main shopping street with restaurants close by The bathroom garbage had not been emptied and the sink stopper was stuck this was quickly fixed by the hotel staff I had to leave early to catch a train but the elevator is not operational before 8am so required me to walk down 3 flights with luggage
Recommended Hotel The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station. The room had a small refrigerator, which was useful. The bathroom had a bathtub, which was nice to soak in hot water after a long day of walking. The first floor is a restaurant and our room faced the street, so the noise could be heard from our room at night.
This is a very pleasant small hotel in the center of Hoorn, on a pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants and stores. It's a half hour from central Amsterdam by train. I would stay here again.
