The houses that can be rented at Waterresort Bodelaeke Giethoorn are very modern and luxurious for a holiday stay. What is particularly striking is that there is a jetty in front of each house where you can moor a boat. Rooms are very nice but we found no hand soap and no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. Other than that it was quite worth the price

To us this hotel feels like something between a hotel and a hostel. It doesn't look very welcoming, it has very basic rooms and the buildings and immediate surroundings look like they need a bit of a spruce up. Nice hotel in the center of Giethoorn. It's self check in, that was great and easy. We arrived late in the evening, and that was no problem with the self check in. In the book in the room it says you have to make a reservation because of corona, so I tried calling 4 times but nobody ever picked up.
