We ended up in room 405, where the stench was absolutely unbearable. We went down to the reception, hoping for some assistance, but were simply told the hotel was “fully booked.” The only “solution” offered was spraying some chemical on the carpet. That only made things worse — the smell became so harsh that staying inside was impossible.
There was no refund, no compensation, not even a small discount. For a price higher than a decent 4-star hotel, we got a room that felt more like an abandoned budget motel. The next day we had no choice but to move elsewhere.
Bottom line: I do not recommend this place at all. If you value your trip, avoid it.

Room 405 was a nightmare — the stench was overwhelming. We complained at reception, but were told there were no other rooms available. Their “solution” was to spray chemicals around the carpet, which only made things worse. It was impossible to stay inside.
Nothing was offered in return — no refund, no discount. Instead of a fair 3-star experience, we got something closer to a dump, and at a price higher than a proper 4-star hotel where we eventually moved.
Verdict: do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place is not worth it.

Room 405 was a disaster — the odor hit us the moment we walked in. We asked the front desk for help, but were told every room was occupied. Their only idea was to spray some kind of cleaner on the floor, which only intensified the horrible smell. Staying there was out of the question.
We weren’t offered a refund, a discount, or even a proper apology. For what we paid — more than what a solid 4-star hotel charges — we got a disgusting room that ruined the experience. We left the next morning for a much better place.
Final thought: don’t make the same mistake. This hotel will ruin your trip.

No refund, no discount, nothing at all was offered. Paying above 3-star rates for such conditions was outrageous, especially when we easily found a proper 4-star hotel the very next day for less.
In short: this place is a disgrace. If you value your trip, don’t even consider staying here.

We were not offered a refund or even a simple discount. For three stars, we actually got a rotten room at a price higher than for a proper 4-star hotel, where we moved the next day.
Conclusion: I strongly do not recommend this place. If you don’t want to ruin your trip — stay away from it!

Amazing apartment (hotel and apartments) on the river. Big thank you to the staff, I accidentally booked for 2026, we arrived in 2025 !!!! Staff saved our holiday. They could not do more to help.
Apartment block is a fabulous converted warehouse with lots of original features with very modern update. Luxurious, clean comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Apartment 3 has 2 floors and is huge with fantastic views of the river.
Location is perfect for the historical centre, surrounded by museums, cafe, bars and restaurants. Gdansk has so much to see. The ferry to Sopot is 100m walk, Sopot has Sandy beaches and the coastal walk to Gydina . It goes right through the shipyards is well worth the fare.
The hotel and Gdansk are recommended. Taxi are so cheap. Airport easy to get to.

Perfect location, a few steps for the waterfront. Train station 15 minutes walking. Clean and spacious rooms, breakfast for every taste. Helpful and friendly staff. Can only recommend.

Cons:
Rooms look a bit dated. There's really no view since it's surrounded by old buildings that looks like they are about to fall apart.

Rooms are simple but have everything you need. Everything was clean and tidy. Very unique looking building. Good location, right next to old town. Breakfast selection was great, they even had salmon which I find rare and also some sort of dessert that was super nice. Had some issues with the electricity in my room but I told the staff and within 5 minutes their electrician was there to fix it. Bravo!
