Hotel Lya Zhara

We stayed at the La Jara hotel from August 15 to 19, 2019 (we planned to leave on August 20, but did not wait until the end of the term, more on that later). The hotel is located on the embankment of the Nechepsukho River in a lively shopping and walking area (Morskaya Street, 7). Everything in the hotel is as indicated on the booking: air conditioning, bathroom, balcony, refrigerator, kitchenette (well equipped, by the way!), TV, free parking in the courtyard, swimming pool with bar / sun loungers / shower / toilet.
So, the pros: since I prefer to rent apartments, and not just a hotel room, so that I can cook something quick (breakfast or light dinner), the Magnet on the 1st floor of the hotel is certainly convenient. The nearby Golden Resort has an excellent self-service dining room where you can eat in the cool on a budget and feed a whimsical child. On the opposite side of the street there are shops with a variety of colonial goods (from chureks-chebureks to dads and booties). Literally 100 m from the hotel there is a suspension bridge over the river. It is in itself like an attraction (especially when you walk on it for the first time), and even leads to the other side, where the Luna Park is based. The public beach is a five-minute walk away, the paid beach of the Tornado Hotel is ten minutes away on foot (but there are much fewer people there, there are free sunbeds both by the sea and by the pool). On the hill is an Armenian church; remake, but made of tuff, as expected.
Cons: if the balcony faces west (that is, you are very unlucky) - in the evenings you will die from the heat. You can, of course, turn on the air conditioner, but there is a risk of overcooling, especially if you have a child in your room. If at night you open the balcony door in the hope of a cool sea breeze, you risk going deaf - a full set of Black Sea resort and beach folklore will fall on you: "Chornye Eyes" and others. that sleeping with the balcony door open is absolutely impossible. From early morning until late evening, the party at the entrance to the Magnet does not stop - singing, spitting, vomiting companies .. It is a pity that such a high-quality hotel is located in such a poor-quality place. In general, there is absolutely nothing to do in Novomikhaylovka, nothing to keep yourself occupied, just the beach and drinks.
Well, we were finished off by the thing from which we, in fact, tried to escape: AMBROSIA! It blooms in lush color in Novomikhaylovka. Alas for us allergy sufferers ...
