We came with the whole family: 4 people for rest + 1 person for treatment. We chose Altai-West and have no regrets. After settling, we walked around other sanatoriums and compared them. Altai-West has a good inner territory, many paths and greenery, the territory is monitored. Wonderful playground, outdoor pool (as well as indoor) at "4". Very polite, friendly and proactive staff. Nice rooms (we lived in building 3, double rooms): clean, new furniture, comfortable mattresses, a shower stall in the bathroom with a drain to the floor (convenient for the elderly) and a glass partition. Towels, soap, shower gels and shampoo are regularly replenished in the room. There are no dental kits and slippers / robes. Daily cleaning service. Our separate love is the "Through the Looking Glass" children's club. You can take the child for the whole day and rest or receive treatment. In the club every day there are different events, animators play with the children, both inside and outside, in the evening there is a disco. The inside of the club is very well equipped for different age groups of children. There is no other children's club of such quality in any other sanatorium of Belokurikha.
For adults, there is also daily entertainment and free excursions.
The sanatorium has a beauty and cosmetology salon. I was at a free appointment with a beautician: I identified the problem, wrote recommendations for both nutrition and care. Interestingly, he did not insist on the procedures, but on the contrary advised him to wait until the fall, until the tan disappeared. Instead of face treatments, I took body treatments. I liked everything, the masseurs are professionals.
Cons: 1. many different guest cards (restaurant card, room card, guest card, maid card, restaurant card, which you give at the first visit). Maybe we should introduce bracelets for guests? It will be much more convenient this way. And the information for the maid and the restaurant about new guests to transfer through the accommodation service.
2. Anyone can enter the territory. This is used by crowds of cheerful young people who hang out in the evening on the territory, near the playground, spit, swear, smoke, behave loudly. The territory is not patrolled by guards, there is no control. The only justification is that it is so everywhere, in all sanatoriums.
3. Hairdresser - no words. The administration of the sanatorium, I ask you, change the tenant-entrepreneur, do not spoil your reputation. After applying the dye to my hair, they just kicked me out into the hallway to wait. The hairdressing salon lacks equipment, but what is old. The master does not know modern staining techniques.
4. Regular rooms, not suites, do not have air conditioning. Consider this when traveling to a sanatorium in the summer.
5. The buffet is monotonous. Few dietary meals. Lunch is not two hours, as it is written, but is divided into 2 shifts, either from 13 to 14, or from 14.15 to 15. Many are not comfortable. If you did not have time to arrive in the first shift, eat quickly, because on the second shift other guests should already be sitting at your table (It seems that this solves the problem of the influx of guests, but it is still not convenient.
