Karelian travel "Velt" consists of two, so to speak, parts: a hotel complex with a bathhouse in the village of Kalevala and a camp site 7 km from it in the forest. Both are good, but in the forest, of course, there is incredible beauty and atmosphere.

Super hospitable staff, nice location with a great view. There's a garden for a morning promenade. The only thing I would change -- too many TVs everywhere on. Quite disturbing, especially in the morning. Good luck!
It was just an enchanting holiday! Attentive and very polite staff, a fabulous and festive atmosphere inside all spaces: in the house, in the cafe, and in the bathhouse, and especially in the incredible beauty of the plague!

We rested with a family of 4 people (2 families: parents and a young married couple) in the first half of August 2019! Namely, at the hostel Velt - 2 nights and in the Hut "Yuvalaksha" - 6 nights.
So, in order! Velt hostel - I liked your hospitality, good organization of rest (there are corrections, more about them later), marvelous and well-groomed places...
