Akvatika Hotel in Petrozavodsk

Probably best described as a 'leisure centre with a budget hotel providing accommodation', the Akvatika had swimming pools, a gymnasium, cafeteria, etc; however the rooms were clean with basic facilities provided. Due to the high demand at the turn of the year for hotel rooms in Petrozavodsk as a whole, we had the last room available - a basic economy room. Rooms were serviced daily and all staff were helpful and pleasant. Our stay was enjoyable.

Very clean pool. With attention to detail for mothers with children. Arena. Baby changing table. Slide for washing in the shower. Everything is provided.
Turkish and Finnish saunas available, jacuzzi, hydromassage, sharko shower.

In general, everything is not very bad. Clean, but specifically the hotel raised a few questions. The first is water in the cooler on the 3rd floor. I got the impression that she never changes. Although on the first floor it was clearly changed. The second moment, the fittings on the windows, on my arrival, were not closed correctly, I re-closed it myself, it immediately became quieter in the room. The TV in the room did not work, I think it's the batteries. Of the pleasant on the floor was an ironing board with an iron. Parking with a barrier and the entrance from the parking lot directly to the hotel, with your own key, convenient. In general, for its price is very adequate.

A very decent small hotel. Good location on the waterfront. The rooms have all the necessary accessories. The linen is clean. An excellent swimming pool with a sauna is included in the price of the hotel. Convenient parking. Excellent value for money and quality.
