We booked accommodation in Dublin Dolphin in the spring for the period from 23.08.21 to 30.08.21, two rooms, one - No. 208 in the main building, the second - in the "Norwegian" building on the 1st floor.
What can I say ... in the photo everything looks much better than in reality, namely: the territory, the pool and the rooms seem larger. We booked on the hotel website, where in the photo of the presented room there is a bathtub in the bathroom, in fact - it turned out not even a shower cabin, not a shower corner. but just a shower and a drain in the floor. Okay, these are trifles, but the entire period of stay, the water did not leave normally, during washing it sometimes reached the door frame ...
Room 208 is very small, the whole room has one bed, two bedside tables and that's it, you can't turn around anymore. The curtain is shorter. than the window width. But there is a huge balcony (glazed), why it is so big, we did not understand. Bed linen and towels were good. Cleaning - at first, only the removal of garbage, after a request at the reception, they began to wash the floors.
The room in the "Norwegian" building on the 1st floor is larger than standard 208, a shower enclosure 1 * 1m, a toilet bowl, a sink are separated behind the partition.
The disadvantage of this number is that the humidity kept for a long time, the water also did not leave, the masters were called, they did something, but still the problem remained. The toilet bowl (drain) broke twice. Plus it's clean. But in fact, these are numbers from a professional sheet and OSB, painted and finished inside under the "Euro".
Food: breakfast varied, delicious, included in our accommodation (separately 350 or 400 r / person), dinner was also taken several times, everything was delicious, 400 r / person.
The biggest disadvantage of this hotel for us is the distance from the sea, 800 meters, and we had to go through a busy road, then through dirty smelly puddles (it rained for a week in Anapa just before our arrival, all roads were in dirty water, very similar in smell and bloom on the sewer), the road from the hotel to Pionersky Prospekt is all broken, it is not illuminated in the evenings, water pumped out from nearby territories was poured onto it all week.
There were sunbeds from the hotel on the beach, in principle there were always enough of them, but minus the staff, they didn’t explain how to find them, on the first day we wandered along the beach. no signage.
The pool is not heated, it was even colder than the water in the sea, and on the 5th day of our stay the water turned green! We went and watched for three days, but the staff did not even take any action to clean the water or replace it = (((All week the generator was buzzing near the pool! I understand that the mains voltage is not enough, and due to showers there were power outages , but it could somehow be moved from the pool, or covered with soundproofing materials, but no.
Mosquitoes! Nearby, if I'm not mistaken, the Polar Dawns sanatorium, near them there is a ditch full of water - there were a lot of mosquitoes, in the evening everyone went bitten! Found clove oil in a pharmacy, saved.
And finally, not to the hotel. and to the sea, terrain or situations with flooding - a 4-year-old child caught an enterovirus infection, then they treated it for another week, two different doctors confirmed that they most likely got infected at sea.
I would not want to write so many minuses, there are a lot of good reviews on different sites (which we fell for!), And during our stay there were satisfied guests, but we saw this hotel as our subjective opinion. Probably because there is something to compare.
