Was passing with a friend on the way to St. Petersburg, 1 night. I liked the cozy room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and food in general in the restaurant (several breakfast options) on the 1st floor. Clean toilet and bathroom. I didn’t like it - number 3 next to the reception, there is no soundproofing, you can hear the staff and the registered guests, the wi-fi didn’t work, the room had an unpleasant...

Dined there on Oct 2, 21. All liked it. But the Kitchen deserves special praise! I don't remember when I ate such delicious and rich borscht. No, in many restaurants they cook well, but in Podvorie everything was just very tasty.
Definitely recommend for tasty authentic Russian experience. It feels Russian, but not in a touristy way. Not sure if personnel speaks English, but they are friendly and helpful and English translations in the menu are well done

Only today I found out from here that a double room costs 1400 rubles, and last Wednesday, 11/24/21, they took 2000 rubles from us without flinching. Interestingly, the authorities know that the prices on the spot do not correspond to the prices indicated on the website. Dining room is good, clean and cheap. The room is also clean and quite comfortable, only the taps in the bathroom need to be replaced
