Wanted today (Wednesday) to go to the Museum - but it says here that on Wednesday closed at other sites indicated that the weekend Monday and Tuesday. who to believe? in the end we postponed the trip - it was too late to call - said while working out in the evening.

Nice to see the achievements of Soviet engineering genius, but also to get acquainted with the history of Aeronautics the border of the 19th and 20th centuries.
However, the outdoor exposition of military equipment is a pretty sad sight. The planes are not well maintained and often look abandoned.
The advantage, however, is the low cost of attending, as well as the opportunity to get in guides real combat pilots retired.

It was very interesting to visit the Museum with children. It is a pity that you cannot come close, to touch, and most importantly - to get into the cab of the exhibits. At least a couple of planes made open and put a guard to keep order. Saw the cockpit from IL is cut off, can be collected from it to make the layout?

The Museum is excellent! The only sad impression is not well maintained due to poverty exhibits. Thanks to a volunteer movement that somehow tries to save the aircraft history.

Very cool place. Children must be thrilled! So much technology to see with your own eyes, even to sit (two images per year, you can sit in many of the exhibits). A huge number of very unique aircraft! Worth a visit with a guide. Will be even more interesting!!!)

Unique Museum by number of exhibits - one of the best in the world. Some exhibited here, aircraft do not have analogues in the global aircraft industry. For example, a space fighter (seventies!), strategic bomber with a cruising speed of flight more than 3,000 km/h, the largest helicopter in the world.
Unfortunately, the Museum explicitly requires investment, many of the exhibits are deteriorating, I missed some planes, which were presented during my previous visit to the Museum.
Information about the exhibits, unfortunately, very scarce. I recommend before you visit yourself to find out interesting information on the Internet. Really miss the audio guide.
The Museum is definitely worthy of a visit, and, in my opinion, to postpone the visit is not worth it, for time is inexorable, and funding this unique collection is, alas, insufficient.

Great Museum! Was here in 2011, progress is very noticeable. Exhibits (especially in the open area) began to look much better, their tint, strengthened chassis and stands. Sheds repaired. Pojavitsa a vending machine and a shop with Souvenirs. For those who believe that the Museum is poor, explain: the government is very bad Finance, almost all made by the hands of caring people. Weekends are held every Saturdays, will force anyone. It is also possible to donate money. They are the greatest!
