Hotel Nikolskaia in Serpukhov

I recommend! A home-style cozy hotel in a picturesque place. Polite, friendly, attentive receptionist. Despite the heat, the hotel was not stuffy. The original design of the premises is no frills, stylish and modern. The room is comfortable, there is everything you need - a bed, a table, a chair, a hanger, a TV, a carafe, a glass, 2 soft towels, shower gel, shampoo and soap. In addition to the bathroom with shower, there is a sink in the room. The shower cabin is simple, but everything works properly, no complaints. Pleasant to the touch, carefully ironed bed linen. There is a cover on the bed. Carrying cleanliness, not a speck of dust. Good soundproofing, you can hardly hear your neighbors. The shared kitchen has a cooler and a kettle. Wifi on the 2nd floor was excellent, super speed. Not far from the hotel there is a bus stop, if you walk from the station, 40 minutes along the pretty streets.

Overnight and all. There was some chemical smell in the room, weak, but my head ached. Slept with the window open. The location is excellent, the interior is so-so, strange, many wrote about it. The staff is friendly. The guests are drunk with the smell of sweat. Audibility like in the theater.

Nice quiet cozy place. Excellent beds (mattresses). Add food and kettles with microwaves to every room, it would be fire! Thank you, I liked everything and the price is right

Good conditions at an affordable price. Spacious rooms, 3 towels, common area is also spacious. You can make yourself tea: there is a cooler and a kettle. Refrigerators in the rooms and in the common room. We stayed in a group. We liked.

We liked the hotel overall. A good option for your money. If we are in Serpukhov, then we will stop here again (there are small disadvantages, but they are insignificant).
Pros:
- excellent location: the Kremlin and some other sights are within walking distance
- affordable prices (4-bed room for 1 night cost us 3000 r)
- adequate communication at the reception both upon arrival and in advance by phone
- serviceable plumbing, the drain worked well both in the shower and in the toilet
- there is no lift, but absolutely all staircases are equipped with folding rails for wheelchairs. Relevant for those who travel with a stroller.

Minuses:
- the main disadvantage is the absence of bedspreads. We checked in tired and immediately fell to lie down in our clothes. We did not immediately notice that there were no covers, that is, it turns out that we were lying in street clothes right on the bed linen. Then friends came to our room, not everyone fit on the chairs, again we had to sit in jeans on bed linen. Dear administration, this is very inconvenient, please purchase bedspreads!
- very slippery stairs, walk very carefully
- there are 2 Wi-Fi points in the hotel, but we were unable to connect to any of them on the 3rd floor. Very weak signal.
- in room 305, the TV did not work, there was no remote control, the remote control from another room could not be turned on.
- the towel rail is nailed vertically - suddenly.

- breakfast is not included in the price (in April 2021 it was impossible to have breakfast at the hotel due to renovations. We had breakfast at the neighboring restaurant Beans, we were satisfied, it turned out about 370 rubles per person)
- payment in cash or by transfer using the Sberbank card number (SBP is not connected), there is no terminal for cards.
- in 4-5-bed rooms, all beds are single (we lived in 303 and 305)
- take slippers, the floor in the room is not the first freshness, walking in socks is not very pleasant
- sink - right in the room, where the beds (in the bathroom - shower and toilet).
