A luxurious hotel in a very pleasant location.

A good hotel for traveling in a group or by car (because it is located far from the center). Quiet area. Free secure parking. Spacious rooms. There were problems with breakfast: one day everything was fine, the next day they came to an almost empty buffet, there were not even eggs and bread. A new kind of hotel scam, or an accident?
Be careful!
We had booked a room (non-refundable booking) at this hotel in advance. Everything would be fine, but now I called the hotel to order a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. And the hotel employee informs me that the reservation was canceled by us. It’s a strange situation, if I hadn’t called about the shuttle, then upon arrival my brother would have remained on the street. Within a month I called and asked to restore the reservation, because the $$ money has already settled on your account. Just restore our reservation. The rooms are free.
Booking.com went to a meeting and sent a request to clarify the circumstances, after which it was ready to provide a voucher. I would rent this hotel again, because geographically it is located not far from the business office, where my brother arrives for two days.
I called for a month, and they kicked me like a ball. And no one from the leadership went to meet us. We were ready to pay extra and take some other number, I offered different options .. But no one went to meet us.
Booking.com sees the cancellation as if by us, but is ready to go to the meeting, I DIDN'T CANCEL !!! (I had no reason to do this, my brother is flying to Rostov on business with the USA. It's funny to tears when they say that we canceled this hotel ourselves🥺). I also saw the cancellation at my place, but not right away .. The hotel sees the cancellation of the reservation, but does not go to any options for restoring the reservation with an additional charge. What for? After all, the money is already in your pocket.
Apparently $$ money is more important than reputation.
They tried to persuade me that I did the cancellation of the room.
At the beginning, I was sure that this was an absurd - a technical situation, but now I understand that this is not so. A reservation has been made for a number for which the customer does not receive a refund.
What is this new type of scam? If not, then why the hotel does not make concessions and does not agree to a compromise is strange.
I am the first in this situation.
I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone !!!.
May my money bring them happiness.
And we will rent another hotel. I want as many tourists as possible in the city of Rostov to know about this case.

The service at this hotel all 5 stars. Polite staff, delicious food and a great place to stay if you come on a business trip
Good place to stay in Vologda. Though far from the centre but the complex is in a quiet and green quarter. I suspect that there are the most interesting wedding in Vologda. )) The restaurant at the highest level! Menu, though small, but the food is super. The supply is also 5 points. 4-well put, because the hotel common rooms (lived in the standard) worn. There is no feeling of freshness, a small pillow and one large bed. In the hallway on the floor a trace of iron on the carpet, TVs Granny-like. Breakfast is good, wi-fi, ATM / cash machine and 24-hours bar, where you can eat. Recommend!
