Hotels in Tolmin

I nice little hotel in the center of Tolmin but not without its issues. Room is missing a kettle/coffee facilities and has so many little lights shining overnight (TV, thermostat etc) Fridge didn’t work. Wifi was very flaky. Bike storage is down a steep ramp into the basement but it’s very fancy and seems to be from a previous life as a dance room maybe. Breakfast was OK but I cannot recommend...

This was an outstanding experience. Loved the very large room, the hotel, the history. The front desk staff were very helpful and it was walking distance to the gorge and castle. Compared to other hotels with higher ratings, this hotel is superb.

A hotel with a charming old world vibe. Many of the rooms are in a building directly opposite the main hotel. I would recommend avoiding rooms in the top floor as headroom is impeded by the roof slope. Otherwise rooms are very comfortable and clean. Very nice breakfast with lots of food options. Several very good, reasonably priced restaurants within a short walk.

Didn't stay at the hotel but had a coffee at their outside cafe. Great coffee, quick service. Biked here on our way to the train station so also needed to use their restroom which was very clean. Thankfully coffee is easy to understand in any language as our waitress didn't know English, French or Spanish. Our guide spoke Slovenian so all went well.

Such a nice hotel - it’s been recently renovated, comfy bed, spacious bedrooms and the AC works perfectly (stayed during summer - so it was essential!). Breakfast has everything you need and the customer service is great. Special thanks to Helenca - the lovely lady who helped us since 2020 and was even willing to share her pizza with us when we checked in late and tired.

we stayed there for one night. This hotel is great! Very clean and calm. The decoration is very original and give the vibes from the old artistic times. Very friendly staff. We will definitely come back back for more nights.

Stayed from 22/06 to 25/06 in Penzion Kobala. We had 2 times a very good diner. Service was very friendly and helpfull to give tips on how to spend the day. If we visit Slovenia again, we would certainly consider to go back.

We stayed with 8 friends for 4 nights while attending a music festival nearby. The place is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and we enjoyed both the pool and the jacuzzi. The food is great, but most of everything, the staff is adorable. They organized taxi for us, helped us out when we needed, and made us breakfast and dinner outside their regular schedule. Very recommended

We had dinner with 8 here. 4 adults, 4 kids! Great experience, very nice staff! They really did their very best to make our night memorable! The table decoration is beautifull and so is the location, with the view. It is important to know (specialy with kids) that their is only 1 menu every evening. 4 courses. Best accomodation in soca valley.

Great service, nice and clean rooms, familiar atmosphere, beautiful and quiet location, really good breakfast buffet and delicious menu for dinner. Everything was perfectly fine. We needed a place to stay on short notice since our camper had been towed to the workshop for repair. Renata and the whole staff was extremely helpful and friendly during our stay.

We had an amazing time in this hotel. It was absolutely GREAT! Delicious food and breakfast. AMAZING staff, we got extremely good advices for experiences in our visit in Slovenia. It definitely upgraded our trip. The rooms are extremely clean and the location was perfect.
