Thon Hotel Dockyard in Gothenburg

The worst hotel I’ve stayed at. The floor in our room was full of broken glass, and the staff really didn’t care. It took us three times asking for someone to come vacuum. Housekeeping came and vacuumed poorly so that there was still visible dirt and dust on the floor.
The buildings are beautiful but interior is very institutional. The sheets smell of old sweat. I would avoid this place.

The best is when you check out and they ask you: How was you stay, sir?
And then you replied: Worst ever!
And then they don't even care what the reason is, their answer is only: oh sorry to hear this sir...
No one takes any care in this hotel.
No desire to improve anything!
If you stay for longer here - forget that anyone will clean your room!!!
We are working in the vicinity and with my colleagues we had to stay for 4 weeks. None of us received any cleaning services. You literally have to go every day and beg them someone to come and at least swipe away the dirt from the floor. Mission impossible!
They make you sure that they will come but no one cares and comes.
I brought the two guys who are cleaning in my room, showing them the dirt as a result of 3 weeks no one cleaning and told them: I am leaving now for run, I'll be back in 1 hour, just vacuum clean at, PLEASE!
They assured me that they will do so, but hey imagine, nothing happened...! Still the same dirt there... I went probably 6-7 times to the reception insisting someone to clean the room... And it's not only me. From 20 colleagues staying there, no one received a proper cleaning service.
Oh yeah, and you have to go and beg for toilet paper and towels... I am throwing myself the garbage and I am washing the towels because no one brings clean ones in my room.
At least after beging so much they changed my bed sheets 2 times for 4 weeks which was a huge step into the proper direction.
And last but not least, they have mice in the kitchen. It's very lovely to see the small Jerry while having your breakfast jumping in between the corridors and curtains.
Overall "amazing" hotel and service!
