Excelent located in the center of Karlskrona. Close to walkinstreet, the square and many restaurants.
The hotel is nice but could use a bit of maintenance. It is kept in an older style which goes great with the building itself.
Lovely breakfast buffet with all the basic stuff for a 4* hotel. Homemade apple pie is a must try.

The rooms are worth money you are paying, since the whole building is build like a castle.

Some people complain about the view... You don't stay at a hotel because of the view from the rooms, do you? So stupid.

Great location. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast is plain but OK. I had a single room on the third floor which was really small and gloomy. Basic amenities, only hand and body wash, and shampoo. My window overlooked the roof of the building nextdoor. It was clean.

The beds in the rooms were incredibly hard. Felt like they were missing a mattress. The toilet seat was kind of loose. No shoehorns in the room.

Historic hotel in the center of Karlskrona
It is a bit old and worn-down, with lots of historic ambiance. The bed was very comfortable. Having more furniture to put our stuff on would have been nice.
The breakfast buffet was five-star; I could easily see people staying there for breakfast alone. Perfect gravlax, many coldcuts, cheese, cereals, a great selection of bread, and one morning, there was even a specially baked chocolate cake!
