We had booked 2 rooms and had to check in late. When we got to the rooms, they smelled like gas and excrement. The hotel is under reconstruction, and we were not warned in any way. Windows could not be opened, so there was no way to get fresh air in. We had to check out at midnight and find another hotel 7 kilometers away. Currently, there is no compensation for the extra costs associated with the taxi and other hotel. ********** gave a small voucher for the inconvenience, but nothing that covers the extra cost and inconvenience.
A lovely hotel just a short walk across a canal from Malmö Central Station. Check-in service was through an adjacent pub and there was no front desk. Breakfast buffet was quite good. In many respects the hotel is a gem, in a gem of a city.
Great hotel in the center of Malmö. The room was spacious and comfortable yet, a little dated. No AC, so during summer gets a little too hot and they just provide a little fan. Breakfast was simple, but good.
Note: Check in is at a different location. You actually check in at the bar around the corner (same name). We were having issues getting in the building until a guest showed up and explained this to us. Other than that, the staff was friendly and everything went great.
