Great experience, stayed for 1 week - nothing to complain about. Definitely worth to visit

Overall the hotel was good. The beach and pool was very nice. Food was hit and miss as certain items were repeated. Our Butler Ramson was provided with our Jungle Villa was excellent and his service was impeccable. Th hotel is approximately 1.5 hours from Stone Town. Overall we enjoyed the hotel amenities and food.

We enjoyed the stay and the staff were very friendly. However, due to a flight cancellation we arrived a day after our check-in date. I did send the hotel a message advising them of this and asking if they could do anything about the (all inclusive) cost but received NO response. The day we checked out we were told that we would have to pay for any food and drink consumed after the 11:00 check-out...

Beautiful place, nice people, welcoming staff. Our special thanks go to Kelvin, a very talanted and extremely helpful young man. The restaurant requires attention though. Most of the items on the menu are constantly out of stock. The orders are being mixed/messed up all the time. But if you are not too picky about food the place would be the perfect fit.

I stayed at Mandarin Hotel for 20 days for business. The food, rooms, and location of the hotel are very good. It is a very good choice for a seaside and quiet holiday. There is music and entertainment at night. Most importantly, the staff is very friendly. See you next time.

A simple thing for an asthmatic like me was to request a pillow that was foam or synthetic. The answer I got was sorry don’t have but if you get an attack we can take you to a hospital. How absurd! This place is super! It's quiet, cosy, clean, has delicious food and helpful staff. Friendly owners Omi and Flo make a good job to develop the lodge and tours on ecological and sustainable way. The place is still quite new but it already works better than most of the lodges around. Really affordable place for lazy chilling in Zanzibar.

Beautiful and very quiet place few meters from the beach! Its small village where you can get close with locals.
