Given it is such a large hotel, I was surprised by the quality of the food which we had for breakfast, lunch and dinner (I was here for a 3 day conference so sampled their entire menu). The quality was very mixed, the dishes were mediocre and most surprising was that the local Thai dishes were terrible and served usually lukewarm during the buffets.
The service and staff were very bad, untrained for a supposed 4-star hotel of this class and for this price. We had to repeatedly call for basic wait service at the restaurant and bar area. Keep in mind that the majority of staff do not speak English so you should be prepared to use a translation app to communicate.
