Restaurant within hotel was so convenient. Food was good service was excellent. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was excellent for us. I made a request for my girlfriend’s birthday and the staff absolutely crushed it! The restaurant is excellent, we dined for dinner and brunch. Very conveniently located on the 3rd floor of the premises.

The balcony with the hot tub was exceptional. The room itself was well appointed and delightful. That it was right on the beach was perfect as my wife has mobility issues. The staff were proficient and friendly.

Been going there gor several years , each summer . One disappointment ; the beds are waaaay toooo Soft . Back and neck aches in the morning

No AC was brutal and were told some things about the room we stayed in that weren’t true… Overall decent place to stay.

The staff was great and I like that it was a smaller property and it was quiet. Alas I the walk to down town was very close . The hot although it was small was a PLUS for me

Incredibly spacious, clean room. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Great location! You can hear the freeway from the room but it quiets down at night and did not keep us up. Wish we had used the heated pool, next time!

the bed was great and pillows were perfect. we arrived early and the staffed rush cleaning our room to get us into it, and then apologize for making us wait. now that's customer service . pool was heated but on the cool side. Clean, comfortable room and great service. Easy walk to dining a park overlooking the ocean. The pool was warm enough for an evening swim.

The Shell Beach Inn was a cute, comfortable, close to everything Pismo, and a short drive to SLO. The staff were friendly & helpful with check-in and check-out. We’d stay here again. They have a pool there, which looked inviting, but we drove down to Oceano Beach (a short drive) and hung out there.

I want to especially praise Ctrip's service. We were traveling so fast that we couldn't get to the hotel until midnight, and there was no one on duty at the hotel at night. Ctrip tracked us all the way and comforted me that if I couldn't find the door key they would help me solve the problem. It was very reassuring. Finally checked in smoothly, thank you!

Keurig didnt work, window wouldn’t open, and walls are thin. Room is clean, except floors are not. Otherwise the stay is pleasant

This motel is 5 stars for what it is, which is an inexpensive place to stay for a night. We were in the area for a concert and just needed somewhere to sleep. The rooms are small and not fancy but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the check in process was quick and easy with on site parking which was easy to navigate.

This is a nice, small, family-owned property run by a kind Indian family. The place looks great—well-maintained and updated both inside and out. However, I did notice several hairs on the bed upon arrival, which was disappointing. While I understand the property is managed and cleaned by the family, I believe more attention should be given to housekeeping and sanitation. Freshly changed sheets and...

The room was spacious. Can use a little TLC but not a deal breaker. Beautiful location. Great coffee shop next door.

For me and my family we enjoyed our stay at The Palomar Inn the staff was polite and the area is a beautiful place and very clean thank you.

Stay here monthly! Love this place. Floors are not ever clean. Must pack slippers or socks to wear around in room.
