Hero Beach Club in Montauk

Nice and easy going vibe. Accomodation is warm, clean and comfortable. Location is great being footsteps from the beach and 5minute walk to town.

We liked the location and the staff was very accommodating with our schedule.

Would suggest considering changing the curtain leading into bathroom. It really does not provide any privacy.

Hero beach club is a delight! The room was extremely comfortable. Great amenities. Close to the beach and we could see the waves breaking from our room. Staff is so nice and helpful. Great outdoor communal area with hammocks, fire pit, corn hole and numerous places to chill. Bikes and surf board use complimentary. Definitely will stay here again.

Our third time here and each time gets better. We loved it. Can’t wait to come back! Walk to the beach and town, easy drive to all of the Hamptons.

Great location and great amenities! Love the beach chair and sofa. The hotel room itself needs some repair work. The sliding door isn’t working.

This was our third summer staying at Hero Beach Hotel, and as always we had the best time!! It was nice to see the familiar face of Alex the manager at check in. We loved our room which included a private deck to the outside garden. The grounds were well manicured as usual. We ended each night with a family s’mores ritual. We loved our morning ritual of the complimentary breakfast—especially the iced coffee. We wanted our mornings on the beach and our afternoons poolside. We can’t wait to be back at our happy place next year!

The hotel is nicely done, staff are great, and it’s in a very convenient location with the beach and town both very short walks. One issue though is the parking situation; they have a very small lot for guests and once that’s full you have to try to find street parking on the side of the hotel, which can be very tough. I don’t understand why the spaces directly adjacent to the hotel are not reserved for hotel guests, it would seem like it’s part of their property or if it’s the town’s property then they should come to an arrangement with them to make it reserved for the hotel. For this kind of money you shouldn’t have to worry about taking your car somewhere and not having a place to park when you get back.
