My family and I enjoyed our stay at Bujtina e Oxhakut in Korça. The hospitality is exceptional, with the owners a welcoming couple and their staff treating every guest with genuine respect and care, making you feel completely at home. They are committed to sustainable tourism and proudly preserve local culinary traditions. By working closely with local farmers, they bring fresh, traditional products to their delicious homemade breakfast, offering an authentic taste of the region. A warm, memorable, and highly recommended experience!

We stayed here with friends, which gave us a chance to explore a few rooms—and it’s safe to say they’re all well-appointed. Some even come with small terraces offering outstanding views across the city. The hotel has a warm, family-run feel, and most of the staff spoke good English and were very helpful throughout our stay. We were faced with the classic dilemma: a junior suite or a room with a view. Both have their appeal, but since we were staying for two nights, we opted for the extra space over the scenery. That said, the public terrace offers a lovely view—it may not be private, but it’s still a great spot to relax. Of course, your priorities may differ, but either option is a solid choice. This is a very good hotel overall. While the hotel doesn’t currently have a restaurant, there’s no need to worry. The best restaurant in Albania is just a four-minute walk down a relatively steep lane. But my 83-year-old friend managed it with no complaints, which should give you an idea of the accessibility. Highly recommended for a comfortable and well-located stay!

We stayed as a family of four in this nice little gem in the city of Korca twice in August 2023. The hotel is located at a high ground on top of the characteristic cobblestone street neighborhoods of Korca and commands a fantastic view of the city. The hotel is a boutique one with not many rooms but its characteristic stone structure and architecture is really nice. The rooms are modern and very cozy, offer a wonderful rest and come with all the amenities. Beds are on the firm side but very comfortable. There are family rooms as well with two adjacent rooms that share one bathroom within the suite. Rooms have small balconies as well but staying on the terrace/patio of the hotel is much better where you can get something to drink and experience the quietness and fresh air that the area offers. Breakfast is fresh every morning and offers a wide array of choices that include local cuisine specialties as well. The owners are wonderful people and go beyond to satisfy your every need, extremely friendly and very helpful. We would definitely visit again and would recommend whole heartedly to everyone that visits Korca to spend their time in this wonderful hotel.
