Reviews
Location was excellent – right near the boardwalk and very convenient for restaurants and cafes. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the staff made sure it was fully equipped with towels and essentials. I really appreciated that our request to have the sofa bed ready on arrival was taken care of.
The self check-in process was easy and hassle-free, with clear instructions that were simple to follow. Overall a very pleasant stay and great value for the location. Would happily stay again.
Overall dont visit here.
Room although good view had a foul and weird odour.
Had to buy air freshener to make it bearable..
Asked if they had another room but it was worse.
Furniture had not been steam cleaned in years and couldn't sit on the lounge or the dining chairs as they had stains all over them.
Bathroom doesn't have a exhaust fan and you can't leave door open as there is a warning saying that if you can't shower with door open as it will set of fire alarm.
As a result the bathroom becomes a hot sauna and makes it difficult to breath and everything in the bathroom gets covered in condensation and becomes saturated.
Homeless guy lives out the front in the bus stop and moans at night.
Don't leave your balcony door open if you are above the restaurants unless you like the smell of mixed foods and there was an extreme smell of curry.
Sounded like someone was bowling in the unit above all night so the rooms are not very sound proof.
Neighbours next door were loud and slaming doors
Balcony flooded when a storm rolled through from the balcony above so don't leave anything personal out you don't want to get wet.
Fire alarm went off and were asked to evacuate but nobody seemed to leave expect for about 6 people including us. So that's only 4 others. I guess someone left the shower door open :)
Other than the foyer the rest of the property is not well kept and lack general maintenance or cleaning.
Some long term residents or tenants are a bit questionable and is concerning for families.
I am not sure what happened but The Entrance is riddled with junkies and graffiti is everywhere. Especially over the other side of the bridge near the lake and boat hire side. There seems to be an old abandoned hotel that is all smashed up and people are squatting there.
I did not see one police vehicle drive past so police patrols are non existent just like council investment in infrastructure.
It sort of reminded me of a cross between Chernobyl and a very large public housing community.
I would recommend staying somewhere nicer and drive to the entrance for the day and leave before the sun sets.
The good old days of The Entrance being the holiday Mecca destination are long gone unfortunately.
Unfortunately they weren't the ones having to stay in the room.
I was there with my family and the lay out of the rooms made it hard for my wife and I to sleep comfortably.
The air conditioning unit is placed in the kitchen and lounge room area.
The second room is an enclosed area with out venting.
The main bedroom is located at the far end near the front door, this is approximately 20 metres from the air conditioning.
My family slept for 2 nights, I only stayed for 1.
It was not an overall hot night (Thank God.) but we used the air conditioner non the less.
We could not open the window in the main room due to the heat coming in and the noise of people passing by.
We were supplied with a fan that could only be plugged in on one side of the bed and couldn't be placed at the end if the bed.
The fan was on Max speed. But the fan was 30 centimetres my head.
The fan made half of body cold and the other half sweating from the heat.
Most uncomfortable I have ever been.
My wife was sweating from the fan not being able to reach her.
It made the night unbearable.
I would have accepted all of this, but the $757 bill, you expect something nicer.
If it was cheaper, I would accept the conditions. But for that price they should fix their rooms.
I will never stay at that property again.
My room was sooo noisy, could here all cars, buses, trucks. I doubt it was double glazed
Room size very good, Furniture dated, full size fridge, stove top. But not much crockery. Bathroom with washing machine and dryer very helpful. Unable to connect to any streaming channels even though the TV remote has them on it.
Happy with free undercover car parking
The room has some strange smell, though

Disappointed.
So when we asked them about the sauce and toasting and salt they just said sorry about the sauce and they dont have a sandwich toaster and they always put salt on chips and if you want chicken salt put it on yourself(that would just make them over salty)
Very unhappy and will never go again.
