I felt the hotel as a whole was absolutely fantastic. The welcoming and service by the staff was efficient and professional. Checking in online is the way to go! However, the rooms do require the window open as the rooms are soundproof. So if you have asthma bare that in mind. Overall, fanatic and would go there again.

I stayed here for one night in a single room with a shared bathroom. I was arriving to Schruns late and wanted a hotel that was walking distance from the train station since I wasn't sure there would be taxis. Sure enough there weren't any taxis so I am really grateful that this hotel was a really short walk from the train station. I was really comfortable. The room was warm, the bed was comfortable...

Lots of nice detail in the furnishings, everything needed in the room, lots of places to sit and hang out inside and outside, good food, great bread, very friendly staff, great recommendations for activities, nice pool.

Highly recommended - if you like authentic Austrian atmosphere and great hospitality, then this is the right place. Their mountain houses are really great as well and decorated with a lot of love. We come back several times a year and that is not for nothing!

This hotel was a great place to stay. I got upgraded twice and enjoyed swimming in the indoor and outdoor pool and relaxing in the hot tub.

I was here in 2005 before the huge hotel extension and the pool was at that time adequate for the amount of guests. The today double client capacity with no extension or relation or a new pool makes, what used to be a great relaxing moment, a very noisy environment with kids jumping and screaming. A really outstanding hotel with excellent food, an extensive spa/wellness area and a pool large enough to do laps, inside or outside. The common areas are expansive so even if the weather isn't ideal, there is lots to do inside. Hotel organises hikes and is right next to the main cable in Schruns.

The Löwen Hotel Montafon was beautiful and very, very nice! Set in the beautiful town of Schruns, it had all of the amenities one would need. Perfect stay and friendly, helpful staff!

The Loewen hotel is quite simply the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Everything about it is first class, from the welcoming staff to the amazing food and beautiful rooms. Whilst it is clearly a five star set up, there is nothing snooty about it. I’m looking forward to returning here very soon.

I have stayed in the hotel for 6 days in late Jan 2025. Perfect location to combine ski and relaxation ! Excellent food combined with an extraordinary spa! Will definitely come back next year for a new one week stay . Rooms are very nice and well equipped too.

We went skiing and stayed at this Hotel. The management and staff are all brillaint and cannot do enough for you. The manager even lent me his boots on the first day as mine fell apart! This hotel should definitely be recommended. I was there about 25 years ago and the last time was in 2000. At that time the house was not modernized, but even then the Ladurner family was very friendly, helpful and very well organized. Staff, food, cleanliness - worth going back! The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with outstanding views from the balcony overlooking Schruns, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the chef was brilliant. The evening five course meals were outstanding. Overall a truly fantastic hotel.

Stayed one night at the single room it was tiny but as advertised. However everything was clean and the room had everything you expect from a hotel. Free slippers, breakfast , TV etc. WiFi was great on level 3 but ground level where reception is WiFi was not working. The staff were accommodating with check in/check out requests.

We had a great stay! The hotel was right next to a bus stop which takes you right to the ski lifts. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic! The sauna was also exceptional after a long day of skiing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sporthotel Sonne for three days from August 12 to 15, 2023, and we very thank the staff for their welcome and the quality of the service.

Amazing family run hotel. Amenities are more 4/5 star. Rooms are spotless and have everything you need plus a fabulous view. The staff are fabulous and friendly. Spa, infrared cabin, foot spa, sauna, swimming pool. Bus stops directly outside the hotel to ski lifts and into town and rail/bus station. Supermarket 2 mins walk away. Inter sport 2 mins away. Rating only to the kitchen/restaurant. Beautiful and imaginative decoration. Glasses and cutlery, etc. are also admirable. Relaxed music and overall great atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and my order was taken within minutes. However, the wait for the food to arrive was a little longer than average. The food was very enjoyable and the portions reasonable. All in all a good stay and I am satisfied

Modern luxury in the heart of Montafon Luxurious and modern. Beautiful rooms and absolutely stunning spa (still dreaming of the spa a month later!). Lovely tranquil ambience. Great breakfast. Very convenient short walk (5 mins) to train station, town centre and busses to slopes.

The hotel made my stay absolutely perfect. The food was excellent—varied, tasty, and of high quality. I was particularly impressed by the spa area, which offers a wide range of treatments and is the perfect place to relax. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is also ideal for quick access to the hiking trails. Highly recommended!

Great wellness hotel The hotel is very, very nice, with a great wellness area. The yoga instructor was excellent, and the service was superb. When booking and checking in, I mentioned twice that it was my girlfriend's 50th birthday and hoped she'd get a small gift (cake or candle). Unfortunately, I didn't. I thought that was a bit of a shame!

The accommodation was very good. We spent a wonderful skiing holiday there. The wellness area was unique, the breakfast and dinner were impeccable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism was the mattresses, which made you feel like you were going to tip over to one side. Otherwise, a great place to stay! We'd love to come back!
