Pension Tulpe in St. Kanzian

I had a great time at this pension! The room was super clean and comfy, the view was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. The owner was really nice too. I definitely recommend it! 😊

My vacation at Pension Tulpe was just wonderful! Many thanks to the owners for your personal and warm hospitality!

The most important points listed:
* uncomplicated personal friendly reception
* Clean, large room (already renovated or not, depending on the category, everything is listed in detail on the homepage, including a picture)
* Bathroom absolutely clean and free of mold (!)
* Complete darkening possible with external roller blinds
* Mattresses: new, clean, very good lying
* Almost all rooms with balcony/terrace
* Wifi very good
* Room service: no problem
* Location: quiet, as it is set back from the street (in contrast to most accommodations in the area), 10 minutes on foot to the lake, opposite good restaurant Lindenhof with playground and bike rental
* Access to the bathing beach: free of charge at the Unterburg lido (receive your season ticket with your room key)
* SüdkärntenCard: Registered digitally by the owner and easily available on my cell phone via the Südkärnten app
* Breakfast: great buffet with rolls and muesli, with a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh coffee from coffee machines that can do all the usual types of coffee, juices, milk, oat milk, yoghurt, small selection of cakes, cozy room with terrace connection. Everything you should expect from a bed and breakfast.
* Parking spaces: free of charge and sufficiently available
* Owners: A young, very committed couple who took over the pension in 2022 and are very interested in the well-being of their guests! Each guest is asked in a friendly manner whether everything is in order and suggestions/requests are taken into account. Since the owners have been making breakfast themselves again due to a staff problem, it has been so good again and there is a friendly atmosphere in the room.

In summary, the Pension Tulpe is particularly recommended because you do NOT live in the middle of the lake promenade with the noise in the evening. But you can still easily experience this on foot. In addition, since this year the guesthouse has been modernized bit by bit, so that you don't have to live in the '70s 'charm' with mold... Look at the other guesthouses for the same or higher price... unfortunately it's the same time all the time stopped and nothing has been done for years. The tulip stands out positively!
