My son is working in Obertauern and I have been lucky enough to visit him a few times so far this year, I have stayed in a number of hotels in the town but this is by far the best. The rooms are beautiful and very clean, the location is ski in ski out and the breakfast is very good with a good selection of food. If you return I will have no hesitation in booking here again. Hotel Wismeyer we visited for the very first time. We can only say everything positive. Starting from room sizes, which were comfortable and spacious enough, continuing with marvellous delicious kitchen (we had halb pension), and caring hotel personell. Thanks to the hotel management and team, if coming back to Obertauern again, this Hotel is again our choice♡

Superb location, right on the slope. Very comfortable dining area. Pretty good breakfast (if you come early enough). The staff is extremely friendly, always happy to help with a smile on their face. For us, this hotel was a peaceful island in the busy ski resort. The service is excellent, everyone really went out of their way to make our time memorable. We were upgarded to the suites, beds were comfortable, sleep quality great. The restaurants and saunas were fantastic. Very relaxing!

The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. I loved all of my spa treatments. The hotel is ski in/ski out and centrally located. My room was very comfortable and well appointed.

What really sets Hotel Kristall apart is the heartfelt hospitality. The owners are hands-on, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so well looked after, and it made all the difference to our holiday.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms were great, and I especially appreciated the beautiful bathroom design. The staff was incredibly friendly, and a special shoutout to Maria, who works in the bar and restaurant - she made my experience even better. She was truly exceptional! We've had a room booked at Hotel Alpina Obertauren and all I can say in a single word is that it was AMAZING . At the check-in we were welcomed by the staff very friendly and polite. Every we come back here to spend a few days - every year it gets better. The owner does spend on the Hotel every year, so it is always on the top. What a great stay Very welcoming and friendly staff. They did everything they could to make it an enjoyable stay for me. Goran was incredibly kind and made sure I got some dinner when I arrived late one evening. The hotel is in a beautiful setting in a quiet little town up the mountain. Great hotel with good food and very friendly staff. Nice rooms and nice sauna/swimming pool facilities. The bus towards the slopes stops directly in front of the hotel, so there's no need of taking the car.

It doesn't get much better than this; the value for money is perfect. A very friendly family-run establishment with excellent, homemade, and freshly prepared cuisine. The location couldn't be better either; you can ski directly from the guesthouse onto the slopes.

A very warm and friendly welcome, the rooms are large and very clean, as is the bathroom. The breakfast is top-notch! I will definitely recommend this accommodation and will definitely come back! Everything is very easily accessible from this guesthouse!

Ate at the restaurant. We were the only ones outside in the glass enclosure. They were polite. The food was good. It’s simple. They serve local beer. Didn’t check for an antigen test which we must have within 48 hours at this time.
