Hope Lake in Zaqatala

Very quiet and peaceful. I had the lake all to myself during my visit. You can relax and drink local tea while enjoying the view and listen to the animals. I saw ducks, horses, cows, rabbits, and sheep. It's like visiting a mini zoo. Beautiful and dreamy.

Great view and atmosphere. Food was great too, liked the yogurt and meat. They have homemade wine too.

We experienced very different and beautiful days in this relaxing space. There are organic foods, high service, and kind local people here. You won’t regret spending your days here.

Beautiful and tranquil place, with ducks, rabbits, sheep, cows and many more animals. Trees are full of fruit and nuts too. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay for 3 nights. And the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Expect to pay 2 Manat for a taxi from the centre of town - you can walk and there's a short cut when the river is dry. From Goyem train station, the taxi will be between about 3-6 Manat (there are also minibuses occasionally on this road). From Zaqatala train station expect to pay about 9-12 Manat for a taxi (no minibuses available as far as I'm aware).

This hotel by the lake and mountains offers an incredible escape into nature. We stayed in cottage #2, and everything exceeded our expectations – clean and cozy rooms, friendly staff, and stunning scenery all around. It’s the perfect place to unwind, disconnect, and enjoy some peaceful time away. Definitely worth visiting!

It was our first time visiting the place. Iwe all enjoyed it a lot. The food, the products , animals , nature! Waiter was kind , had some troubles with understanding but we handled it 😅😅 There also was a wood just like in 100m, so we could walk there as well

It was our first time visiting the place. I'd say the adults and all the kids enjoyed it a lot. There is an artificial lake which is pretty enjoyable (a lot of ducks and frogs + rabbits around). We enjoyed the very organic breakfast. Also, the rooms and apartments were very clean and tidy.

Unfortunately, the waiter's service is not working between 10 pm and 9 am. Overall it's a really good place to clean up your mind and refresh focus for a couple of days.
