El Faro Hotel Nabran in Nabran

I truly regret booking this hotel. The overall cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The bedsheet in my room was dirty and clearly not freshly washed — it even had a strong scent of a man’s cologne, which was extremely uncomfortable and disturbing. It made me question whether the room had been cleaned at all before my arrival.

The water park, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel, was also a huge disappointment. It was poorly maintained, with dirty water, broken facilities, and overcrowding. It felt unsafe and definitely not worth the hype or the cost.

To make matters worse, the food was awful. There were very few options, and the taste was terrible. I had booked three dinners in advance — a decision I quickly regretted. After eating, I became extremely sick and ended up vomiting every meal.

For the high price I paid, the experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless serious improvements are made. Generally, I think it doesn’t deserve 5 stars.

This hotel has zero respect for its guests! I booked and paid in advance, yet upon arrival I was told there was "no reservation." After a long argument, they offered me a room that smelled of mold, was damp, and clearly unhealthy to stay in. When I refused, they still didn’t provide a proper room. The front desk staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. Such irresponsible and disgraceful service is a shame to the hospitality industry!

Avoid this hotel by any chance! its bad starting from service (we waited 7 hours after calling reception for cleaning services) to food! They dont use A/C on all of the floors except reception and its like sauna, tge only thing i liked is that aquapark, and half of the slides wasnt even working! Food is 50/50, not much to choose, they dont have any diversity between food, its always hot in the restaraunt, its like battle for the food, it does not deserve the full price of 2000azn for 4 person, only if you go there with travel voucher, but not the full priceN

Do not make the mistake of choosing this resort for your vacation. Waste of mine and my family’s time.

Both hotel buildings were absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. The “premium” hotel that we were staying at was below average quality, the rooms missing basic tools and items like towels and kettle, the bathroom seats unclean. The AC randomly stopped working at night, making it difficult to sleep. Overall the interior of the other hotel building was so unbelievably outdated and old, the doors were closing and opening with great effort. Staff seemed clueless about everything. Not very helpful.

No consistent Wi-Fi, I used my mobile data for the majority of the time I spent there. It’s like a 50/50 bet if it’ll work or not.

The pools were OK but the constant loud music, the unsanitary, downright filthy bathrooms near the pools and the changing rooms made it difficult to enjoy it. Some of the rides weren’t even functioning, defeating the whole purpose of even putting it there. Not to mention they close access to pools at 18:00 for cleaning purposes, which made it uncomfortable even more. Who closes a pool at 18:00?

The food was average at best. Was very difficult to eat after noticing all the dirt and filth adorning the entire resort. We’d keep finding little hairs in food and drinks.

Terrible place, did not enjoy it at all. The pricing is ridiculous for the service provided.

Generally very badly managed hotel. Hotel is completely inconsistent with 5 stars it's positioned. We've booked room in "deluxe" new building: - Terrible quality of finishing works - Dirty and wet room with awful smell. There is a signs of the flood on the floors - Insects in room - Paper cups and construction fasteners attached. Construction works are in progress on the territory. You will enjoy the noise and dust during your rest. Pool area with noisy music, half of waterslides is not working. There is no 1st line and sea beach. You will find there only dirty sand. Breakfast is from 9 till 10:30, sounds not so flexible. Quality of food (we've tried lunch) is very average. Forget about WiFi in the entire resort. It's not working in rooms, not working at reception, not working at restaurant. We've decided to leave after 1h of staying there, and asked reception to return at least a part of 2 prepaid days amount. They refused. Absolutely clueless and unhelpful receptionists.
