B&B le Flaneur in Bruges

Erika and Dietrich were brilliant hosts, friendly, engaging and helpful. We spent plenty of time chatting. Our luxury room was lovely, and full of interesting curiosities, as was the whole house.... this place is a one off. In a nice quiet part of the city. The breakfast's as vegetarians was nothing short of excellent, and different on each day. Can't big this place up enough, and would highly recommend to anyone.

Erika and Dietrich are fantastic hosts who gladly share their advice on the city and showed a genuine interest in our family. Fantastic B&B, filled with curiosities - it's like stepping into a deluxe version of BBC's Antiques Roadshow. Brilliant breakfast - Erika is an excellent breakfast chef. Really good location location for experiencing historic/central Bruges. A 100% recommendation from Denmark

We spent two nights at Le Flaneur last week and it was a pleasure. There was a warm welcome when we arrived and we were taken to our room which was well presented with a shower and twin basins. We were also offered a map of Bruges and advised on suitable restaurants. Breakfast was offered with home made additions which varied each day. A great location for visiting Bruges with super hosts.

What a wonderful place to stay! Friendly, welcoming, warm, comfortable, quirky, really quiet. Breakfast was excellent, a real treat. Didn’t need lunch. Super helpful hosts, useful tips on places to go and good restaurants. Lots of really nice touches. We will definitely return.

This is my second time staying here after doing so in 2017. And the wonderful thing is, Dietrich and Erika are just as wonderfully welcoming now as they were back then. Both are now working full time at the B&B which has 5 very charming rooms. The house is clean, full of character and well appointed. The hosts are attentive without imposing themselves and they literally cannot do enough for you. The breakfasts are legendary! And the cherry on the cake - Flanelle, Erika’s little dog. So friendly and a funny little fellow. Honestly, if you can find a B&B anywhere, let alone in Bruges, that is more welcoming, I would be astonished. 6 stars out of 5!!!

A perfect B&B! We booked because of the excellent reviews, which are very well deserved. Erika and Dietrich are warm and kind, the perfect hosts. The house is decorated with lots of antiques by people who love to collect. Amazing freshly cooked big breakfast each day. And great location. You couldn’t hope for a better place with nicer people running it. Thanks!

Absolutely the most homely welcoming couple, who went out of their way to help us. Beautifully decorated apartment with all modern features, complimentary wine. Superb breakfast with different hot options each day, we didn’t need to eat until nightfall,. Close to everything I would 110% recommend this to all.

Wonderful stay from beginning to end. Erica, Dietrich and Flan the dog are fantastic passionate hosts. It is really good to come across people who care about their trade. Lovely rooms with great little touches, breakfast is 5 star and is varied each day. A refreshing change from a fried breakfast and kept us hoping all day. Erica's home cooking is very tasty and a surprise awaits every morning. Lovely hot shower after a days walking and sightseeing and very comfortable beds which made us very happy travellers. The building and contents are very eclectic and there's Lovely little touches everywhere like belgian chocolates in the entrance area.......what more could we ask for? Nothing everything was spot on and thank you for helping us make wonderful memories.

What's more to like? The hosts are on their course to the kindest people on earth trophy, the home is comfy and the decoration from another time, the homemade breakfast is top tier, and you are welcomed by the cutest little doggy.
Bruges is already a haven of peace in this busy world, but this is the cherry on top.
